Rick value his potential customers, we went to the whole process of him going to our house measuring the sq footage giving us quote and showing sample wood flooring but we didnt push thru with the work due to personal circumstances but a year and half later we contacted him again and he didnt hesitate to entertain us again for all our calls and inquiries. We thought he might no longer want to work with us because we didnt pursue on the plan we had more than year before, but he still responded back. What Id like with Rick compared to other contractors I met for this job is his pricing is very detailed, he will show you how he came up with the price quote. No surprises on additional expenses. As a first-time home owner, I was nervous when my girlfriend and I decided to change our flooring. We contacted a few contractors but Rick was the only one to call back in-person. He made the entire experience personable and comfortable, with easy availability through the phone. Rick even stopped by on a Saturday to show us samples of floor tiles and even offered to come again if needed. On the day of the work, Rick and his team were quick, efficient, and friendly. This was one of the smoothest experiences I've had working with a contractor. Rick called me within 15 minutes of me requesting a quote online. He came by 3 days later to take measurements and provided me with a quote for 3 rooms, baseboards (with optional shoe molding) and removable of the old floor from one of the rooms. He explained the quote in details and how the work would be done. There was no pressure. He told me to call him to let him know if we were interested. After dealing with Rick, I didn't bother calling others for quotes. He was in the range I was expecting. I called him the next day and I was able to schedule the job within a week; they were done in 3 days. Rick and his staff were professional, kept a clean work area and ensured that the place was tidy at the end of each working day. They showed up on time and were just very professional and respectful. As for the quality of work, it exceeded my expectations - they eliminated existing squeaks and did an amazing job leveling out the boards to make them flush where the hardwood meets the ceramic tiles. Rick and his team did an excellent job replacing our sixty year old wood floors with new oak solid hardwood floors on the main level of our raised bungalow. They were very thorough. Even small details were nicely completed. Rick was in constant communication with us about what they were doing. They moved large furniture as needed.
