The worse experience I have ever had in my life as a costumer was at furniture stores G.H Johnson’s, at 950 Dupont Street (Dupont and Dovercourt). I bought a sofa there and paid it in advance and what was delivered to my house was a despicable sofa, much inferior in quality then the one I bought. At the same day, I went o the store to complain and was re-directed to the owner of the store. He was very rude and said i should had read the back of the bill where it says “no return”. I have called several times and he is always very busy to talk to me I have written several e-mails and had no response. Only after I bought the furniture there I realized that is the way the store operates. The store displays nice and good quality furniture, the staff are very nice, friendly and polite when they are doing the sale. But they rarely sell the furniture which is in display, which means that the furniture you want have to be ordered. The store orders the furniture, you pay in advance and then a much cheaper furniture is delivered to you and when you complain, they direct you to the owner who says noting can be done about it. It is immoral.
