Scott and Matt at New Ridge completed excellent work on our small living room floor refinish. They were on time, on. budget, cleaned up well afterwards and communicated very thoroughly through the whole process. The quality looks better than we expected and we are very happy to recommend them.

Scott was very pleasant and professional. He immediately rectified an unpleasant situation that had happened based on an inquiry that we had with his assistant. We look forward to meeting with his team.

We have had a great renovation experience with NewRidge Finishing Group. Scott contacted us promptly after our inquiry and a quote was provided within a couple of days. Matt did a wonderful job in refinishing the old hardwood floors in a 70 year old house that had a few water damage issues with the flooring. He explained the process in great detail prior to beginning the work and did not rush through this job. He was prompt, courteous and responded immediately to our questions. This was truly a professional job from beginning to end. Refreshing after dealing with other contractors who continue to ignore requests to follow up on their services which were not done satisfactorily and remain unfinished.

I so highly recommend New Ridge. We hired them to rip out broadloom carpeting, refinish our staircase and install hardwood flooring in our hallway. From the first contact, all communication with Scott, Brian and the team was quick, responsive and friendly. Brian led the project at our home and he was a pleasure to work with; he was very accommodating and kept us updated on every step of the project. Everyone that came through the house to work on the project was courteous and friendly and each one took extra time at the end of the day to make sure our house was left clean. The project was finished on time and on budget and we are so pleased with the results. All in all, an excellent experience.

Our shiny yellow red oak floors are now rocking a light natural matte finish thanks to Peter and Dane. Most of our floors were original from the 60's while one room was a newer prefinished floor. Both are now refinished to look identical. Our foyer was quite damaged but now looks new. We can't believe the transformation. Peter and Dane are terrific: they worked so hard to achieve the look we wanted and kept our home clean throughout the process. They refinished our banisters too and even they match the floors perfectly. If you are thinking of new floors don't hesitate to have Peter and Dane help you get your dream floors.

Scott and his team did an amazing job refinishing the stairs and bannister/posts in my new (very old!) Bloor West home. I was in a panic trying to get this done before moving in, and Scott worked a scheduling miracle to make it happen. His team did a phenomenal job, and the original stairs to the home have been given new life, enabling me to maintain some of it's original charm.

They aren't the cheapest, but the quality speaks for itself.

We hired New Ridge when we bought our new house to replace carpet on the second floor with hardwood and refinish the staircase before we moved in.

We couldn't be happier with the customer service and the finished product. John P was the contractor on our project and he was amazing to work with. He went above and beyond for us - he was in regular communication about how the work was progressing and reassuring us that it would be done in time for our move-in date. He cleaned up at the end of every day and his attention to detail was excellent. Even our neighbors raved about how hard he worked and how friendly he was. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend or rehire New Ridge back again!

Out of all the companies we contacted NewRidge was by far the most communicative. They let us know what was happening every step of the day and the pricing is clearly laid out. We had anticipated to all be at work/school when the stairs were being done however because of Covid we were all home. Rob did a fantastic job of working around all of us being home and having to use the stairs at various parts of the day. The final result is beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Brian and his team did a great job. They were efficient and got the job done on time. Each stage of the process was completed by experienced specialists. Very pleased with the service.
