Nortown Paving removed our existing residential driveway and installed a new asphalt driveway, near Sherway Gardens in Etobicoke. There was about 800 square feet of driveway to be paved. The crew showed up on November 9, well staffed with lots of manpower, and completed the job in under three hours, this included removal of existing driveway which was impressive. The crew was friendly and professional and kept the work site very clean at all times. The driveway came out looking great. Silvano who originally contracted the job a few weeks ago showed up after completion to do his own inspection and ensure that we are satisfied with the results. I would recommend these guys, they don't mess around and get the job done.

I had my driveway and walkway done by Nortown. I had five different quotes and NORTOWN was the most reasonable in price. Silvano came to my place to look at what we wanted to do and provided great ideas that I never thought to use for my home to enhance the exterior front and walkway to the back. He promised that the work would be done within a few weeks and he kept his word. On the day set to do the work him and his team showed up on time and delivered to expectation. The work was done in one day, very clean lines, and they left no mess behind. There was a piece of grass that was replaced by Nortown because some machinery ruined it and they replaced it with no additional cost, which was very thoughtful and we are greatful for it. I'm very pleased with the outcome of the work it's better then I anticipated it to be. Exceeds my expectations! I contacted multiple paving companies and received estimates in July. Silvano from Nortown Paving contacted me in early October to follow up on the estimate I received.

After finalizing a price, Nortown Paving completed work on my driveway the following week. The job was completed while I was at work and I returned home to a beautifully paved driveway. They ensured that rain water would flow away from the house and all my expectations were met. In addition they did not leave any debris behind.

The parking lot of my small commercial building needed paving, and I’m glad I chose Nortown. When I first called, Silvano responded quickly, and he was great to deal with. His price was the most reasonable (out of five) and he emphasized that would be the final price. No extras! Then on paving day Silvano, the crew, and machinery arrived right on time. They were professional, efficient, friendly, and paid attention to details. For example, their asphalt butted up perfectly to the sidewalk, with a nice straight edge (unlike the ragged edges in some other contractor’s photos). The whole job was on time, on budget, and painless. And for me, painless is priceless, so I highly recommend Nortown.

Quickest to respond to request for a quote in the spring. Best price of the 4 contractors. Worked with neighbour to ensure everyone was on the same page. Arrived to start first phase within a week of promised date. Finished second phase when promised. Good quality work. Obvious experience. before asphalt was place, ensured they would meet key criteria of having water drain away from both houses by engaging Nortown Paving owner who was on site. Grading was adjusted accordingly.

This review is long overdue. We had Nortown come put in an interlock extension to our driveway the fall of 2013. Over the course of the winter the interlock showed significant buckling. In the spring of 2014 we called them back and without much hassle they relaid the interlock. I think it took them longer to do it the 2nd time around than the first. These guys truly honour their warranty and while they are not the cheapest, they do stick around to make sure you are happy with their product. While I'm not happy that we did have to call them back, I'm very happy with how they honoured their warranty. It's been almost a year since they've redid it and we have not seen the buckling reappear. I would recommend this company - they stand behind their work.

Called Nortown for a quote, and Marc Volante cam out the very next day (Saturday). After listening to my ideas, Marc proposed 2 others that include changes to my landscape and lawn. Both were way better than I had in mind. After agreeing to his proposed interlock style, Nortown's entire crew came back 2 weeks later and completed the entire job in one day. I couldn't believe it myself. It seemed that the entire street came out to look and crew and all the equipment at work. Bottom line, I'm extremely impressed with the dedication Nowtown has to completing their jobs and level of customer satisfaction they aim to achieve. I highly recommend Nortown.

We hired Nortown paving and construction approximately two years ago to replace a walkway we had around our house for over ten years. We were lifting it up to do some work in the basement and flood protection. The original was in fairly good repair. They came reasonably quickly, were in the upper middle of the pack in pricing and completed the work in an acceptable amount of time.
When they arrived to remove the old walkway they commented on the solid and strong workmanship of the previous walkway calling it old school. We had a few small issues after it was completed and with a few calls the person who did our quote came out to do the repairs and assure us that it was solid. Last summer we noticed a number of cracks and were surprised as the work had just be done but unfort. I didn't call thinking we can live with it, now chunks are coming out of the side walk were they slanted it ( I had originally asked about the corner and rear area when it was done and was told it would be fine(It looked uneven)). It looks more of a mess than the over ten year old concrete we had and now we are going to have to pay someone to fix it. The sales guy said small hairline cracks are expected after a number of years, but otherwise concrete is a good solid way to go. The man who came to look at the cracks and chunks missing gave me a quote sheet with the guarantee on the back to prove they would only guarantee their work for a year, and was extremely impatient with me, only blaming the frost and this type of damage can be expected and its normal. I was annoyed and asked about all the bad weather over the past ten years that left our old walkway in better shape? He said concrete will crack and chunks will come out, its the weather and they will not be doing anything about it.

He was still impatiently talking and muttering as he walked to his car. I mentioned this online review and he didn't seem too concerned. We are a small project - I expect as they normally work on larger projects and schools, but for us this was an a project that we budgeted and we hoped would enhance our home; not look like garbage after a few years. I would not recommend this company there are others with higher standards of customer service, stand by their work, or at very least make have a conversation/ make recommendations on how it might be repaired.

Called for a quote and Sam (owner) came the next morning, followed by a quote on the spot and in writing within a couple of days. Timing before the work could start was accurate, as well as how long the work would take. Team arrived promptly each day and in all cases were EXCELLENT at their craft. Sam, Mark, Rocco and their teams, as well as Joe & Colin and their team did an outstanding job of the driveway, curb, walkway and steps and made sure we were completely satisfied. Dealt sensitively with neighbouring properties and went over and above to ensure they left things tidy each day. Highly recommend - we are very pleased!
