DO NOT USE NORTOWN PAVING worst attitude if there is a problem. Very soon after driveway paved cracks emerged. They don't care, made up excuses, 2years later it looks horrible, cracks, rolls, NO guarantee as stated when they took our money. Use anyone but them

Nortown Paving and construction did an excellent job on paving our front house and our neignbours'. All members knew their job and were very professional. They turned our old pavement in a new and trendy one! Mr. Marc Volante was very kind and friendly to deal with. The company is highly recommended.

We originally approached Marc about doing our driveway, we had someone else lined up to do interlock. In the end we ended up with Nortown paving the two (joint) driveways as Marc did a great job of dealing with our neighbor and also doing the front interlock.
Marc was always happy to discuss the design and plans, in person or via sms/phone.

The small army of workers with their equipment showed up within the time frame we were told to expect, they did everything in one day, cleaned everything up, and so far everything looks great. Will update after the winter has passed :)

We needed to re-pave our aged asphalt driveway. Marc responded quickly, paid a site-visit, and provided an estimate. He also gave a lot of helpful advice and tips on how to approach this project. Marc was always friendly, polite and professional. Nortown also gave a fair price for the work done and did not ask for a down payment. Marc kept us posted on the schedule for our work, and the teams came on time. Their work was professionally done. Marc even came back to do a touch up on a very small part of the driveway to complete the work. I couldn't be more pleased with the work that Nortown has done. I won't hesitate to recommend Nortown to any one who wishes to have their asphalt driveway re-paved.

We needed to replace the front steps to our house and the driveway. We also wanted to extend the front paved area next to the driveway. Marc came from Nortown very quickly to provide an estimate, and also gave a lot of very helpful advice even though that advice steered us away from some higher-cost items that would have benefited Nortown more. He came back several times as we changed our conception of our project, always friendly, polite and helpful. Nortown also gave by far the best estimate, and did not want a downpayment. When the time came to do the work, we realized we had a very heavy item in the way of the project -- no problem: the Nortown team used their equipment to move it and, when all the work was complete, they moved it back again for us. Marc kept us posted on the schedule for our work, and the teams came precisely on time. Their work is absolutely beautiful, both the concrete steps, the extended pathway and pad, and the new asphalt driveway. The driveway paving now merges beautifully with the concrete which it abuts, the steps and curved extension are lovely, and the curb appeal of our house has gone way up. And the job came in significantly under budget as well. I have already recommended Marc and Nortown to friends and colleagues and will continue to do so. We could not be more pleased!

We would like to applaud the workmanship and professionalism demonstrated by the staff of Nortown Paving and Construction Inc. From the initial visit when we obtained a very competitive quote to the completion of the job, every aspect was addressed as promised. Each hard-working crew member, knew their job and carried it out with no time wasted, taking pride in a well finished product. The owner, Sam Volante, visited our home and made several suggestions to fine tune the work and in the end, exceeded our expectations! He is extremely knowledgeable about his business and ensures his clients our completely satisfied with the job...even going above and beyond with some of our requests. The job of excavating an old asphalt driveway, regrading, laying down new asphalt with soldier course around the perimeter, lifting an existing interlocking walkway and relaying a newer, much improved one, was undertaken with our 100% satisfaction. We had our driveway paved and also had stamped curbs installed July 2013. I would highly recommend Nortown Paving & Construction. From the initial meeting with Marc to the completion and follow-up of the job, Nortown displayed quality workmanship and excellent customer service. Marc was most personable and suggested many helpful options and colours without trying to up-sell us, definitely placing the customer first.

My wife and I are 100% satisfied with Nortown paving. In comparison to other paving companies in the GTA, Nortown sets the standard. The customer service is second to none; the staff are professional and knowledgeable. Would I recommend Nortown to my closest friends? The answer is simple: YES.

NEVER AGAIN- I hired Nortown Paving to pave my driveway in 2011. Only 2 months later my driveway was completely cracked in many different areas. Cracks ranging as thick as 1/2 inch wide and 8 feet long. Sam Volante (owner) would only repair it with driveway caulking filler. i paid for a new driveway (not a repair job) . why would a professional company only repair the cracks with caulking (which looks horrible) and not replace it as should be. Mr. Volante would not return any of my calls and when speaking with him was extremely rude and arriogant saying he would not replace it. Only until issues involving numerous letters to Nortown, my lawyer and BBB, Nortown came back to pave it again a year later in 2012 (at the end of my warranty). 3 months later, my driveway once again, is completely cracked again in all different areas- exactly same as before. Nortown will not return my calls as my 1 year warranty is expired. I have never experienced a more unprofessional company who has no regard for customer service and customer satisfaction. i would never recommend Nortown Paving to anyone.
