Oakville Glass and Mirror is a family run business that has been in Oakville many years. We have used them on several occasions to have glass/mirror cut, installation of a glass shower door and just recently purchasing of hardware for our front screen double doors. They are always pleasant and very helpful. Our latest purchase was the hardware for our double screen doors. They were very patient in working with us to get a good replacement that would fit into the holes already drilled into the screen door. We like to DIY and they were again patient and helpful and milled the door strike for us at no charge at their shop to allow the hardware to fit perfectly. We would have never been able to do that adjustment ourselves. The cost of the hardware that we chose was $140.00. We started out trying to solve the problem of broken hardware on an older screen door system at Home Depot. The gentleman there, after looking around for awhile for different options, suggested that we purchase a new screen door for $99.00. We would have had to purchase two doors, trying to match the colour of the enclosure and have them installed. By the time we would have finished it would have been a much more costly option and we would have most likely had great difficulty matching the glass enclosure for the screen doors, compounding the problem.

We are absolutely delighted with the recommendations of Oakville Glass and the end result, both with the look as well as the cost savings for us.
