We just had our Driveway, front porch, front walkway, side walkway and side deck done in patterned concrete . The end result looks amazing and we have confidence that we will enjoy it for many many years! Connie walked us through the process and gave us many referrals and properties to visit so that we would be confident in our colour and style choices. Many of the properties had their driveways done as long as 20 years ago and They still looked new! Joe, the owner, along with Connie came by several times to monitor the progress of the project and they were always prompt in getting back to us with any questions we had. The many crews that worked were all courteous and professional. We highly recommend this company .

Thinking of hiring Patterned Concrete! One word -DON'T! Based on the reputation of Patterned Concrete (PC), I decided to hire them for my landscaping project but it was a big mistake. I never thought that my experience was going to be this bad and frustrating.

For my project, the scope of work was clearly discussed with the PC salesperson and accordingly, she quoted me a price which looked affordable and I thought to proceed. I was advised to pay $1,000 upfront to create a drawing for the project with a promise that the drawing cost will be reduced from the final invoice. Considering the company's reputation/ salesperson assurance/confirmation for the written quotation and my capacity to afford, I paid for the drawing.

The drawing was promised to be delivered within a week's time. However, it took more than 3 weeks to even have a rough sketch. Even after making repeated requests, and 4 weeks later, we have still not received a Final 3D drawing for the project. The corporation which calls itself "The Experts, Award Winning Specialists"!) has been giving all sort of excuses for this delay- backlog, "computer" crash, request for personal priorities. It has been a full time job for me to get their attention and support to sit together and finalize the sketch and then set a schedule to start the job.

But my misery does not end here…4 weeks in, their updated quotation (that also based on a rough sketch) arrived with a big shock and surprise as it now includes a significant price increase from the last quote provided even when the area to be served has been reduced:

a) the area reduced by 41.4% but the quote is up by 30.5%
b) the area reduced by 11.5% but the quote is up by 53.7%.

These are significantly different than the original quote and definitely, way beyond my budget. It appears that salesperson misrepresented and misled me to pay for something that was not feasible. The $1,000 paid is going to be a waste because the significant price increase is neither acceptable nor affordable. PC drawing that has not yet been delivered is a complete waste as most landscaping companies provide drawing without any upfront charge.

We recently had our driveway and patio area completed in the fall by Patterned Concrete. We were extremely pleased with all aspects of the service including planning, removal and pouring of the concrete. This was a fairly large job and PC was up to the task. Joe and Connie came over many many times to discuss colours, patterns and layouts. I very much appreciated all their suggestions. They are truly experts in their field. The job was completed in a timely fashion and they were always upfront with timelines. Weather is not always your friend when it comes to pouring concrete!! This was actually the second time we used PC. We had our first driveway installed over 25 years ago. The drive was actually still in excellent condition, however we were looking to expand the driveway as well as add changes to our patio and steps. The care and service they used 25 years ago still remains today. I would heartily recommend their services.

Patterned Concrete recently competed a 635 sq foot patio in our backyard and we are very pleased. Soni was very professional and helped guide us through the project. The different teams that handled the various aspects of the project, from tearing down the old deck, preparing the site, pouring the concrete, stamping, cutting & sealing, were extremely professional. The owner, Joe, made a number of visits to our home including one to advise on the colour to best match our house. Many members of their team have been with Patterned Concrete for 20+ years which speaks very highly of the company and their level of expertise.

Patterned Concrete originally did our driveway and walkway about 20 years ago. We've had repairs and resealing over the years due to Canadian winters and regular usage. Nothing major. This year we had it all media blasted, power washed, detailed and resealed. Connie arranged and organized everything. Within a matter of days, the work was completed. We are amazed at how great it looks. It maybe better than the day it was first installed. Thank you to the whole team.

I had Patterned Concrete hired for my Front porch landing and steps, sidewalk and backyard. These guys did the work really well and professionally. The work was done more than a year now, but the compliments still coming our way. Our neighbors had patterned concrete as well, but different company, and you can tell the difference which ones were professionally done. Ours have all the fine details and look so much better then our neighbors.

Patterned concrete did a great job on our front porch, steps and retaining wall. Lots of compliments from the neighbours and people have stopped their cars to take photos. Connie was helpful in choosing patterns and colours and walking us through the process so there weren't any surprises. Things changed a bit during the demolition phase that caused a design change and we were happy that Joe & the PC team were very accommodating. Two years later we're still more than pleased with the results.

Connie was great to deal with form the get go. It was good to see Joe out on the site though out the project and ensure the job was done as I expected. The team had some great finishers and workers, Louis, Mauricio, Carlos and Mike.

I would recommend this company anytime, you paid a bit more than what the regular guys will charge but you get quality of work.

Patterned Concrete delivered with excellence a redesign of my driveway and front porch, and front door landing. Their designer developed a design that was both creative, functional, and consistent with all my objectives. They listened carefully to what I wanted to achieve with the redesign and adjusted at my request any detail that required adjusting. When it came time to excavate, concrete pour, and execute the details of the design all of the people involved in the execution worked very hard to please, and were clearly skilled craftsmen at their trade, taking great pride in their work. While I was very concerned about meeting my colour objectives, they worked hard to ensure that my concerns were allayed and that the ultimate final product delivered precisely on what I had desired ( a very natural-looking English running bond brick look in a red tone to blend beautifully with the house brick). Neighbours all stop to feel and walk on the final product, stating that they can hardly believe it's concrete and not actual cobblestone. The look is beautiful and natural and greatly enhances the look of my home. I couldn't be more pleased.
