Royal Decks And Landscapes

Our project with Royal Decks consisted of a complete re-design and update of our front and backyards (landscaping, paving of driveway, large stone patio, and 2-level PVC deck). Throughout all phases of the project, Royal Decks was an excellent company to work with.

The design delivered by Miro (Owner and Designer) met our needs perfectly. The finished space is elegant, yet simple and low maintenance.

The Project Managers (Chris and Steve) are very experienced, and know what does and does not work, both aesthetically and functionally, and all their recommendations during the construction phase improved on the original design. Chris, Steve, and their teams do not cut corners, and ensure that all work is done properly, and any issues that came up were addressed promptly. All team members were courteous, reliable, and pleasant to work with.

We are fully satisfied with the quality of work delivered by Royal Decks,
and so glad that we chose them to transform our outdoor space.

Royal Decks built a beautiful deck and associated landscaping. From initial contact until completion they were very easy to deal with, responsive and professional. Workmanship was excellent. They provided contact numbers for the various people involved with the project and listened to our requests.

Deck and stair structure replaced, cedar deck planks replaced with PVC, cedar railings replaced with aluminum. Royal Decks team consisting of Miro, Steve, Arthur and Mike was very professional. We highly recommend this team.

After being ghosted by several contractors, we contacted Royal Decks and were pleasantly surprised by Miro’s prompt reply and clear communication throughout the project, from consultation to finish. We replaced our old splinter-filled cedar deck with PVC decking, aluminum railing + lighting and glass privacy screen, and also completed some landscaping work (retaining wall, tree planting).
We were very happy with the results and especially the attention to detail from Arthur and Chris in the finishes. We would highly recommend Royal Decks and Landscapes for future projects.

We've wanted/needed to fully replace the deck at our house as it was approaching 30 years old and )was just too much to maintain any further. We decided to go with composite material made by a local company after our meetings with Miro who came to discuss our project in early March. Then Covid hit, so naturally much of the economy and businesses came to a screaching halt. But work began in July, and the crew who came were a great bunch of guys. You couldn't have asked for a more hard working and polite crew. We were always kept informed of any delays in material delivery, and any problems that came up (ie a bad batch of cracked support beams) were remedied within mere days. Considering everything that Covid did to the industry, it didn't stop Royal Decks from coming up with solutions. It was obvious from the start of construction that these guys were VERY meticulous in their workmanship, and took pride in their work. No small detail was overlooked. Top marks to this crew (I feel bad that their names escape me at the moment) for their friendly demeanor and for leaving the work space clear and safe at the end of each day, knowing that our 3 kids would be playing outside in the yard. Here is our family enjoying a socially distanced meal on our finished deck!

From start to finish, Royal Decks was a pleasure to work with completing our new PVC deck this summer. Miro was very insightful with the different options we were considering which helped us make a confident decision with our plan. He was also able to accommodate the work much earlier than anticipated which was a huge bonus. Miro, Steve, and Anita were always available and prompt to answer any questions we had, so we really appreciated the ease of communication during the whole process. Royal Decks clearly takes pride in every detail of the work they do and the quality really shows. We can’t wait until next summer to take full advantage our new deck!

Royal Decks delivered a professional and stunning finished product that exceeded the original design. The pandemic brought timeline issues that they were able to navigate, allowing us to still enjoy the new composite deck and stonework while waiting for the back orders on product to arrive.

Steve and his experience as a carpenter allowed the construction to flow and was able to navigate the trickier parts of putting a brand new deck on an older home.
