Sonoma redid our entire basement. Leveling the floors, insulating, drywall, plumbing, electrical, painting, and much much more. Mike, Aldo, and the crew were so easy-going yet professional. Whenever we had a question or a problem it was addressed immediately and always to our satisfaction. Even after we made our final payment, Mike noticed a part of the job that needed improvement that we had missed and the next day it was corrected. Could you ask for anything more? I would recommend Sonoma to anyone looking for a great contacting team.

When Mike came out to give us a quote for our basement reno we knew right away his company were the ones we wanted to work with, not only was it a great price but Mike had some great ideas to help us make use of our space. Work began on time and got of to a great start but we got held up for 6 weeks due to the city workers strike (couldn't get inspectors in). During this time Mike and his crew did what they could to keep the project on schedule. Once the strike had ended Mike had the inspectors in (everything passed no problems) and we where back on track. Before we new it the drywall had gone in and was quickly followed by the flooring(wood,tile) doors and trim. Final inspections passed no problems and now we have a basement apartment which we can be proud of.

Throughout the whole project we worked closely with Mike and his crew, Aldo(thanks for coming out at eight in the evening to check our heating was working) Frank,Tony and Tony, the electrical guys, the plumbers, all of whom where quick ,tidy and respectful to us and out home.

This is our second contract job with Mike. We called him again to do some renovations on our bedroom. A few years ago, he renovated the entire basement. The bedroom looks great and we are very happy with it. Mike is well organized, and he is very easy-going and helpful. If we had any questions he was able to give us an honest opinion. Now that the job is done, we can't say enough about our very satisfying experience working with Mike and Aldo. Their quote on the work was fair, and they stuck scrupulously to it -- absolutely no surprises on the final bill. The quality of the workmanship was impeccable. They listened to our concerns along the way and promptly dealt with anything that wasnt exactly what we wanted to make it right. They stuck to their schedule, and always advised us of any minor delays. They were proactive in giving us advice on design/material alterations to improve the project and to help us avoid problems down the line. In the end they created a whole new space that we are extremely pleased with and that has added significantly to the value of our home. After hearing many rennovation horror stories, we feel lucky indeed to have discovered Mike and Aldo.

We had Mike and his team finish our basement. Right from the initial meeting he was better than the rest. He provided suggestions that other contractors didn't, like moving our hot water tank so that we could accommodate a bathroom. Mike was also willing to move the plumbing and gas lines so that we wouldn't have to lower our ceiling and frame around everything. Mike and his team worked hard every day and were finished well before the estimated date. Mike was always in touch and was willing to do what it took to make sure we were happy. We would definitely recommend and use Sonoma Contracting again.

My husband and I hired Mike to renovate our basement. We decided to enlarge our basement windows and insert a new window. Aldo and his crew did a great job. We were very happy with Mike. Mike is a great guy and nothing was more evident than keeping his customers happy. He was very easygoing and accomodating. Our basement looks incredible and definately does not feel like we're in a basement. Workmanship is top notch. Everyone that sees it, is in awe!
