I would highly recommend Swan Moving. They moved us in August 2019 and did a great job in making sure that everything was securely packed and arrived safe and sound as well making sure that they did not damage any floors or walls and left everything very clean.

I'm always a bit wary before moving day but I shouldn't have worried. Dick, Rob and Jerry did a great (and very quick) job. They were very good-natured and made me feel at ease.
In the new house, everything was placed neatly where I wanted it and without any fuss.

We’ve used Swan for two moves, I would never recommend anyone else. No matter where you are in the area, call Swan first as there is no one else that compares, and we have moved many times! The guys were polite, respectful of our belongings and they took the time to make sure we were 100% satisfied. They made moving, which is usually very stressful, easy and painless. We would HIGHLY recommend them.

Swan Moving and Storage from Guelph, Ontario we contracted to move us from Orangeville, Ontario to Penetanguishe, Ontario in October 2018. Ron with co workers Richard and Michael could not have worked harder or been more pleasant AND It was a big move. Their price based on the fact that their truck was larger was cheaper, as it just required one truck unlike Two Men and a Truck. Also like Two Men and a Truck, the cost of the move that was was based on leaving Orangeville, even though they came from Quelph. Further they packed with extreme care and nothing was broken. We could not have been happier with all that was done.

Swan moving provided me efficient, professional and respectful moving services on very short notice. In addition, the three staff members from Swan were just plain nice. Would highly recommend this team and this company for those requiring moving services.

I was really pleased with the care and efficiency Swan used in moving my baby grand piano. Great care was taken with all the pieces though narrow hallways and stairs -- not an easy move. Thank you!

BUYER BEWARE****

We were over charged by $300 and the job was not done. We made a deal for $1050 + 10% (if the job went over time) +HST. That should have been Approx $1300. That was a firm deal in writing.

We were given a bill for nearly $1650 and they cited having to wait extra time (which we negotiated) and they didn't put the second bed together or have to move many items.

I had to argue just to get the price back down to the agreed upon deal.

THEY WILL NOT HONOR THEIR WORD. CHOOSE A DIFFERENT COMPANY.

Movers were on time, polite and did a good job. Went to use my Visa afterwards and it got declined. I don't have a large credit limit as I don't use it often. Ends up they put a $1900 approval on my Visa without telling me. Estimate was between $1200 to $1400. They had no right to do this and did not seem to think they did anything wrong. I get it that people don't pay sometimes but you have to inform people what you are doing with their credit card! Frustrating response!!

Movers were friendly and nothing was damaged.
Swan has been around for a while and has built a good name for themselves.
My only suggestion would be to get clarification on pricing so there’s no surprise at the end.

I used these guys to move to my new home. It was a little more expensive than renting a truck and moving with my friends but the speed of everything and not having to organize and worry about my friends smashing everything was worth it. Well worth the money to hire professional movers.
