I bought pool heater from this store online, they confirm my purchase and when I arrive to their store in Oakville after an hour drive, they said ohhh sorry is not available in store and it may deliver after couple of days or weeks or month or maybe next year. It is the worst experience in online shopping, No body is responsible here, I have to cancel my order and now waiting to refund my money.

Called total tech last year end of season about loosing water in pool, was told by employee that they were closing pools and they wud deal with it 2020. I asked to be one of their first calls in April. Turns out young man had us down for opening and pressure test, explained for 30 years my hubby opened and closed pool but I definately understood reason for pressure test. Dave the owner called to let me now I asked for opening also, I found him to be quite short when I told him about not making the arrangement for pool opening. I explained that we were loosing water and when looked under pool cover no water in shallow end. We have called consistently to get help from total tech but to no avail. They all say we will call back started in April today is May 21 2020 and still no call back.
I should include that we have bought 2 liners from total tech plus we also purchased a safety cover plus a lot of our chemicals. The young people there are so nice. The last liner we had installed around 3 years ago wud never stay in, on opening the liner was back out again. Finally dave came out and told us we needed something around pool, we had no problem with that. I absolutely trusted this company I am very disappointed, very disappointed with this company.
I am sorry it turned out this way.

STAY AWAY! BUYER BEWARE!!!I hadn't posted this review earlier because I didn't know that they were on Homestars.com. They opened my pool and did a horrible job. The whole job was rushed by a couple of amateurs. The plugs at the pumps were leaking and it took forever to reach them to fix the problem...which I had to fix myself. I gave them the benefit of the doubt that they had hired a bad employee so I hired them again to close the pool. The closing was worse than the opening. They broke my pool light but told me that it was already broken. STAY AWAY!

Our 2 year old Pentair Superflow pump was not starting, with the visible appearance of water having broken into the membrane of the control Unit. We called Total Tech who had originally installed the unit and managed to talk to Grant one of their technical Team. Grant explained a number of procedures over the phone. Unfortunately these did not work. With a week of swimming lessons for our child starting tomorrow, and the pump connected to the heater, Grant managed to find time for Us for a same day call out. After re-inspecting the unit, Grant installed a replacement temporary pump to make sure our swim lessons could continue as planned !! .. we are very pleased with Total Techs customer service. Thank you again Grant!!!

We started using them after they bought out the company that installed our pool. We were away last Friday when they came to close our pool. We came back to the cover half in the water (see picture). Some of the grommets did not work. They did not contact us to ask if we wanted them to repair them when they were here last Friday. They came back today after a number of phone calls, and the issue was fixed. We were promised they would come back in a couple weeks to finish replacing the grommets that are still not working. The gentleman also promised he would speak to the owner to make sure the issue would be discussed with the employee who was here and left our pool like this without contacting us first. I was going to give them a 1/10 before they showed up today, I am now more satisfied and this is reflected in my rating. You just need to make sure you are there when they come to avoid a similar situation I guess.

On time, on budget - while providing good communication & the answer to my 100 leak and other pool questions. Grant and partner know the workings of a pool at the highest level. I strongly endorse and will use again - after all it is a 50 year old pool

A big thank you to Dave and the crew for going above and beyond to help us get our pool back on track. In late June we started experiencing problems with the water quality - first time in three years. We sought regular help and water testing from another large pool service/build provider. But the problem got worse over a few weeks. Total Tech was more knowledgeable, creative with their solutions and committed to helping us. We felt like we found a partner. They have earned our future business and reccommendation

We purchased our home with an older existing pool, and needed to replace the pool liner, pool pump, sand filter, heater, chlorinator, and lights over the last 2-3 years. What we appreciate most about Total Tech is the good advice we receive when deciding what to buy and how they stand behind it. We've trusted their recommendations and we know based on experience that they stand behind what they sell. Their prices are fair, but what's actually more important is that they'll take care of you after the sale and installation. When we recently had an issue with the heater we had purchased, they were responsive and they took care of it right away. As a pool owner, I've learned how important that is. We highly recommend them.

Very disappointed in this company. This was our first year having them open our pool and complete a weekly maintenance.

The pool was open and there was low suction so during maintenance they couldn’t vacuum. I called the company and was mislead that someone would be out the next day to have a look at the situation. After no one came, we examined the pool equipment ourselves and founf that a black gasket was sitting beside the pump and never was installed. We received no apology or credit from the company and due to the missing gasket our pool was never vacuumed properly. Plus the maintenance checklist was never complete. We never had our pool vacuumed completely, the sides were not brushed and chemicals were never checked and of course they require full payment for this terrible service. Obviously we cancelled our service. There are a lot of decent pool companies out there. I thought this was one but I was proven wrong right from the beginning.

Total Tech did a totally amazing job replacing the liner on what turned out to be a DIY inground pool! They went way above and beyond normal expectations in replacing not on the liner but also the non-standard metal walls. Cant say enough good things about them!!
