provided a very misleading quote. our exhaust pipes for washroom were not connected to the roof. I called and explained this to Travis. He came and checked the roof and said he will need to put new flappers and wrote the quote. I understood that putting new flapper is equivalent to ensure that the exhaust pipes are connected to the flappers. They just changed the flappers and did some minor work within 1.5 hour and charged me $800. Originally the quote was for $400 but then they added additional $400 because there was no flapper for another washroom. I wasn't even notified of the price. Regardless when I called and explained that they should connect the exhaust they said they can't go into the attic because it is against by-law. they offered to put new exhaust pipes with the flapper but it would be upto us to attach to fans. I got the exhaust attached with my attic insulation for less than $50!

Ajax roofing was not the cheapest price, but they were not the most expensive either. I chose Ajax Roofing after watching them work on a neighbors house. They were very professional; I was given a detailed written quote including the warranty coverage & a copy of their insurance coverage. The dumpster was delivered the day before they arrived. When they did arrive with a crew of six or more, protective tarps were laid & plywood sheets protected the windows. The old shingles were removed, ice dams & aluminum valleys installed followed installation of the new shingles on the same day (2400 sq ft house). The cleanup was thorough.

I just had my roof re shingled by Ajax Roofing and I'm very satisfied with the work done. Travis and his crew are professional and did my roof in 1/2 day. Ground sheets were used to prevent debris from scattering and they cleaned up thoroughly afterwards. Ladders were tied off and hard hats worn. Travis followed up with his inspection immediately after the crew left. I highly recommend Ajax Roofing!

We were very happy with Travis and his team. They came in the fall to do a minor repair to get us through the winter and then did the whole roof in the spring. Roofers were properly tied off, signs were put up to warn of falling debris and the area was triple inspected for random nails. Thanks you.

The roof rot had caused squirrels to make their way into our attic, which was terrible. Once the wildlife guys came out and removed the squirrels, your crew fixed the roof beautifully. There was no mess. I came home, the roof was done and I never knew you guys had even been here. I now have absolute peace of mind... thank you so very much, you have no idea how much that means. We recently had our roof replaced by Ajax Roofers. They were referred to us by a neighbour on our daughter's street in Ajax, Ontario. We were told they were extremely reliable and professional. We called Travis and discussed our roof issues with him on the phone. He advised he would come and look at the roof and give us a quote. Travis came - true to his word - when he said he would and called us to relate issues he found on his inspection. He submitted his quote which was fair and honest. We hired his company to do our roof but before he could come to replace it, we had a couple of days of heavy rainfall and sprung a leak in our kitchen. Travis and his staff were there that day to tarp our roof and saved us from further damage. Within a matter of days, we got a call that the shingles had been delivered to the house and the roof would be done the next day. We left for work the next morning and came home to a new roof which looked fantastic! Any old shingles or debris were removed and our garden has been protected. Not a single budding flower had been damaged. Our property was spotlessly clean! An added touch was a phone call from Travis the next day to ask if we were content with the work done or if there were any issues. It is very nice in this day and age to find a company whose owner and staff make you feel that you and your home are important. They stand by their work. This company takes extreme pride in their work and it shows! Travis and his employees are extremely personable and polite. I had ice damming on my roof last year, Ajax Roofing was to install 100' of heater cable and 10' of ridge vent. I told Travis that I would like to plug the cable in at the side of the house and he said no problem. On the day he came, he installed 2x50' cables on both sides of the garage. I told him I was not happy and not comfortable using a latter every spring and fall to plug and unplug the cables. He said most people leave it up all year round and there was nothing else he could do, I told him it looks awful. And I had to drive to Home Depot to buy two 50' extension cords, that was another $100 plus tax.

We cannot say enough about the professionalism and competence of Travis and his entire crew. Travis always responded to our inquiries in a timely and helpful manner. The quote was thorough and complete, the sale was finalized without pressure, and the job was done on time and with care. We would recommend Ajax Roofing wholeheartedly!!

I had an emergency repair done in the spring and a full re-shingle by Ajax Roofing in 2008. The job was done in a day with a thorough cleanup. This year I had a minor problem with the metal valley lifting. Travis was over to inspect it and his son returned a week later to repair it and give the roof a quick inspection at no charge. These guys stand behind their work!
