As a contractor I came across this store over 10 years ago and have yet to even think of changing or going to a box store. My clients are my most important asset and referrals go a long way in my business. And the same goes for this store.

I bought more than a couple thousand worth of materials from them. 6 days later my contractor thought we are short so I ordered 2 more boxes for next day. We ended up not using them so same day I called to return and to my shock they said their policy won't accept returns and tried any non sense to justify this. The material that I won't be using and goes to waste but they certainly have customers for. Do not recommend dealing with them at all.

I have been dealing with Tony for the last 2 years on our family home renovation. We are just about to complete the 4th project with his company and his pricing has ALWAYS been much better than his competitors. He has always been helpful and his installer Hassan has a great attitude and is great to deal with ... One more job to complete after this ( carpet for the stairs and landings ) and will definitely be using them again.

They will try to pressure you into giving them a cash deposit or use your debit card! They will not accept credit cards because of the 2% fee. Their AD at Craigslist deceives people into thinking that they don't sell any wood flooring made or finished ( stained) in China.
After getting your cash deposit, I gave them $1000, they will make you sign a contract. After we signed the contract and gave them the $1000 deposit, we went home and found out that the company making the engineered wood they sold was from China. We went back the next day to complain and we asked that they refund our deposit because their AD at craigslist misled us into thinking that we were buying wood made and finished in North America. They refused to return our deposit saying that they already ordered the wood for us and that it's too late to cancel. After a lot of arguing they agreed to change our order to a North American company , but they lost our trust by this time. We went home and I found a lot of negative reviews about them! There was another customer review that was like my case. So today I was determined to get our deposit back in full . I armed myself with signs and intended to stick them on my car in front of the store, when the owner arrived in his car.
When he realized how serious I was in getting my deposit back, and would go to extremes, he backed down and gave me a complete refund! My husband and I have never encountered customer service this bad in Canada! If you're looking for hardwood flooring, I strongly recommend 'The Hardwood Flooring Stores' , I went to their Victoria park branch and spoke to a very knowledgeable and nice man named Darren. He is an angel to talk to after my experience with the other flooring salesmen!

We purchased laminate from Mike. Out of all the places we went to, he seemed to know the most about different products out there. He was very accommodating to our needs and timelines. The price was very fair for the quality of product offered.

Went in to look at flooring spoke with Mike he asked us if we had an installer told him I had received 1 quote but was curious to see what they would offer . Mike asked me questions started taking notes , said he would send out one of his guys to come out and provide me a quote ..he told me he only had 1600 sq ft left of the florring I wanted so I would have to put a deposit of 1000.00 down .. Told me to sign that I gave him cash ( because according to him they only take cash ) meanwhile on their website it shows they take mastercard which I saw later
He Sent out a guy to take measurements and give us a quote . I decided I didn't want to go with the quote they gave and Mike said we were OBLIGATED to go with them trying to force me to pay over $10,000 I refused to pay anything as I only agreed to get a quote and nothing more . Now they won't refund me my money && when I call the store to speak to someone they answer and keep hanging up in my face ??????????? They took my deposit and won't give me my money back ... Have made many attempts to contact them but they are acting VERY CHILDISH
STAY AWAY ! They may come across as nice people but they will tell you whatever you want to hear until they get your money
