It's so difficult when you read these reviews to correctly assess and judge both the information in them and to some degree, the reviewer. Hopefully this review will make your decision a little bit easier.
My wife and I wanted two gas fireplaces installed and Hubert's was one of the companies we contacted. Immediately, they separated themselves from their competition, responding quickly and courteously to our requests. Their very experienced foreman came to the house and explained exactly how things could work. One of the installations was challenging to say the least and through perseverance, ingenuity and hard work, they accomplished what I was looking for.
At one point while we were still deciding, I inquired about after sales service. I was told that once you are in the Hubert's family, you are taken care of period. I liked that. Moreover, I believed it.
Their installers work for them and only them. They don't sub out their trades like many others do. This company is professional, respectful, helpful and everything went very well. Their installers were just the best people you could want in your home. They will tell you the truth, even when it may not be in their interest. Which is really what I look for: honesty. You can rely on their team to be upfront and there are no surprises. Highly recommended.
