Classic Fireplace and BBQ Store

I had a challenge where my expectations were not met on a gas fireplace repair. The owner reached out to me and made it right. Overall the work got done and I am happy with the service. Unfortunately, there are a lot of dishonest people out there who make companies act in a less trustworthy way towards their customers. In this case the owner was quite reasonable with my concerns and help make the experience much better. I would recommend using this company.

Went into Rylander location and told them I had a gas fireplace that wasn't lighting. They sent a guy out to "service" and diagnose the problem (vacuum fireplace for 15 minutes). The service guy doesn't have part (fine with me) but tells me he will call me with the cost of the part. He calls and tell me the part cost but it will be another $60 to install.

I complain to manager as to why the $60 install charge was not included in the "service" I was charged for. He is not helpful at all and wants his $60. I tell him to forget it.

Net-net...guy walks into a store to get a small part fixed on fireplace and they wants to charge me $150 + $60 ($210) plus costs of parts.

Terrible service and even worse the manager was either not smart enough or not willing to acknowledge my expectations of the service was not met. Don't do business with this company.
