Classic Fireplace and BBQ Store

It all started while stopping for a quick bite. We happened to wander in the Scarborough store to do some research. Terry welcomed us and listened to our goal of replacing an old non-functioning wood fireplace with a new insert. We were shown around to see what Classic Fireplace had to offer and in no time an appointment was arranged for Josh to come over for an evaluation and quote. On that day Josh, being the Engineer he is, was very easy to understand and listened to our hopes for something new, not to mention affordable. He guided us towards thinking about a gas fireplace instead, further adding value to our home and a welcome update. We set a date. His crew, Dwayne and Kyle came to take care of us and in no time we beamed at how beautiful it looked. Their expertise was abundant, answering more questions so politely. And tidy too! We just had a Morso wood stove installed and it is even better than we expected. We were so pleased with every part of the process from viewing the model in the showroom to the initial site visit and installation - everything went so smoothly! We were very impressed with the individuals that did the installation - they were professional and tidy and they gave us some very useful information on how to properly use the stove. We've only had it for less than a week and we've already used it several times - it's a great addition to our home! I would 100% recommend the Classic Fireplace and BBQ store!

I recently purchased a direct vent gas fireplace and had it installed in my basement. This was a smooth, stress free process beginning with the home visit and quote from Josh. Following this I liaised with Terry who was able to expedite the install date and answer my technical and framing questions over the phone. The installation team (Steve and his assistant) were extremely knowledgeable. They placed mats and neoprene runners throughout the basement to protect my flooring were and the clean up exceeded my
expectations.

I would definitely recommend Classic Fireplace and hope to have them replace my older upstairs fireplace in the future.

The staff at classicfireplace is knowledgeable, and willing to go above and beyond. They knew everything about the specific hard to find european firestove we wanted. Bruce especially was super helpful, and great to work with (even when dealing with a particularly difficult complaint from my spouse). I would definitely recommend and will come back.

I could not be happier with our experience with Classic Fireplace. We met with Terry at the Scarborough location who was personable and friendly. He spent a lot of time with us to tell us all about gas fireplaces, showed us the different options and explained his recommendations. Josh then came to our house and was able to work around our busy schedules to conduct his assessment and finalize the quote. He gave us some great advise in helping us choose the surround for our fireplace which we are very happy with. Next Steve led the installation of our new unit. The installation guys went above and beyond in terms of service and the quality of their work was excellent! They were able to install the gas lines in such a way that they are very discrete. Steve then took the time to explain everything to me including how to work the remote of the fireplace and explained things about our BBQ (even though we didn't purchase the BBQ through them). They were friendly, professional and courteous! I would not hesitate to recommend Classic Fireplace to anyone interested in a fireplace or BBQ.

Well, I am the type of person that likes to do my research when buying any product, That being said, I purchased a Napoleon Prestige|| from this same store 17 years ago and this unit still works today. We have larger parties now and decided it was time to upgrade our BBQ. After 17 years I know a new ownership has been changed after speaking with Bruce at the store. He told us everything we should know about both of our new purchases - warranty and rebates that were available and BBQ tips. Very professional and knowledgeable.
Note some other stores did not tell us very much which made us go back to Bruce at the Rylander dealer store and made our new purchases.
Delivery and assembly staff John and Zach (gas line installation guy) are very professional and very kind - spent detail time explaining the new BBQ and The Green egg. These these guys are all fantastic and very helpful with all kinds of helpful information.
Gas line installed by Jake was done very clean and exactly what we wanted.
We are very happy with our purchases and the customer service at the Rylander store and would definitely highly recommend it for purchases.
We are planning to make other purchases with them in the near future.

Dave at the Pickering location was very knowledgeable and patient answering all our questions. We had an old wood burning stove insert with brick surround which looked horrible. The crew showed up on time, were polite, courteous and very hard working. We are amazed at how good the insert looks and performs. Dave recommended a contractor they work with that finished off the masterpiece by adding new stones and mantel. We would highly recommend this company (before and after pics)

Great help in choosing product from Karen at Whitby store. Installers were excellent, no mess, explained everything, noticed a small defect, ordered replacement. Even put back the eavestrough blown down by wind! Highly recommend Classic Fireplace.
