Pete The Plumber

I had a leaking hot water tank and this company spent time after hours addressing my immediate concerns. They booked an appointment quickly to replace the leaking tank and told me exactly what to do throughout the time I was waiting for replacement in order to minimize damage. The tradesman was courteous and did not perform unnecessary services to add to the bill. I have used this company repeatedly and have always found them helpful, reliable and courteous.

I would recommend Pete the Plumber, the service man was honest and showed up on time for the appointment. He gave us different options available for our old house, instead of telling us we needed to replace a part. Also took the time to show us what the issue was.

I have a house from the 90's and they used the old gray pipes in the intire house. To begin with I started to replace the pipes in the bathrooms. Pete the plumber showed up and gave me an astimate and he toock care of the entire project.

We were extremely happy with their service. After placing the call in the afternoon they were there the very next morning. The representative was very professional as was his customer service and had our problem fixed quickly.

We were shopping around for Bathroom Fictures, SInks, Tub's etc. and visitied quite a few places. Pete the plumber seems to be the most direct and honest with fair prices and no hazzle on purchases etc. The advice did not lean towards any particular vendor, was not pushy in ayway and was consitent with all the 'other' good advice we received. Very easy to do bussiness with.

Our experience with Pete the Plumber was a nightmare. We were told it would take 6 days to renovate our bathroom and it took 6 weeks. This was the only bathroom in our home. To this day I have a toilet that won't properly flush (second one installed by pete that didn't work properly) and the faucet in the bathtub can be moved by hand (hasn't been attached to anything behind the wall). We went through many different teams of "plumbers" during our 6 week stint - I don't believe any of them had every done plumbing or renovations before. I would leave distinct instructions with a team only to come home from work to a different team who knew nothing about what was to be done. For example, I had to have 2 different countertops installed because I left instructions indicating where I wanted the sink holes drilled with one team and a different team installed and put holes in the wrong place. I requested that all the framing be treated for mold (it was evident there was some starting - our home was built in the late 50's). When I arrived home and all the drywall was on I asked if the framing had been treated - the response was they had treated with bleach instead of kilzit - no sign of bleach anywhere, not a bottle, not a scent - it was never done. One team installed cabinets and when the cabinets didn't fit the installer just left them sticking out from the others about 2 inches from the wall - when I asked him to fix this he told me he'd have to take everything apart again - well yes!! The final straw was after all was said and done we realized that all of our copper piping had been stripped out of the basement and replaced with plastic piping. We have renovated our entire home - this was the WORST experience I have ever had with contractors of any kind. Are we happy with the results - NO - every time I flush the toilet I am reminded that we were taken by this guy. I have steered many friends away from this company.

The estimator missed the first appointment and was a week early on the 2nd.The guy who replaced the vent stack damaged my bathroom drywall taking the old one out and the two drywall repair people they referred me to never did show up.
The guy who replaced my water tank knocked over his torch and burned my laundry room lino............NEVER AGAIN!!!

He was there fo an hour and didnt charge for his time and he only charged when he came back to complete the work. He did a great job was helpful an informative fast and friendly. Thanks! I will recomend his services.

He came in and did a really good job of step by step instructon of what he was going to do and did exactly that. He was fast and efficient. Great workmanship and no issues since! We are very satisfied with quality and value for our dollar. I would recomend him to everyone!

It was -40C and out pipe had burst. They came out and midnight and completed the job very efficiently, professionally. They came out despite other plumbers did not want to without a premium up front.
