Very impressed with this company starting with Sean, who came to my house immediately when my furnace broke during a cold spell, and also Shirley (the office administrator), who kept me in the loop with everything that was happening with my purchase. Once we agreed on a brand and price (extremely competitive) , he was able to have his company reroute the installers so that they could come over the very next day, which they did.

The most impressive part of this installation was the fact that I ordered a 5" filter that was not installed to my satisfaction. All I had to do was make one phone call and it was rectified immediately..... no questions asked and to perfection !!

Very difficult to find a company that offers this kind of service. I wish I had found them 2 months prior so that they could have taken care of the Hot Water tank for me.....instead of the other guys I hired.

Two older gas furnaces in old house. Had great experiences with this company and reviewed them favourably.

Called them this time for a furnace issue that looked like a shot controller for the blower motor. Great service from the office, tech was competent and pleasant, confirmed diagnosis, recommended replace old furnace because original equipment manufacturer's new board was priced at over $600.

I wanted to defer replacement for a year or two, and do both units at once. So, I proposed getting a lower cost alternative board from a big specialist company that was explicitly cross-matched and had been used by countless installers in this product line for years. Got the green light from the office.

Service manager over-rode in favour of the original manufacturer's board after I purchased the new board. Cancellation of service call was last minute. Apparently some regulatory issues and liability worries.

Frustrating, and some lost time and hassles to get this done elsewhere. Hence a lower score for this encounter than others, but I still like the company and would still recommend them despite this irksome miscommunication.

We had Spring Home install an AC unit in May 2021. We found Spring Home on Homestars and selected them based on rating and the conversations with the knowledgeable sales associate. We selected a Daikin A/C unit. House already had duct work. A/C unit installed at the back, requiring extra piping running outside the house.

Pros:
-Friendly, knowledgeable, professional staff. From the sales associate, to the installers, to the customer support.
-The installers did not rush the installation (took about a full day) and left the work area tidy

Happy with the unit so far. Have used Spring Home again for our furnace inspection, and would recommend them.

I've been a client of Spring Home Heating and Cooling since 2013.

I contacted them in October 2021 for a quote to replace my old furnace/central AC with high-efficiency units. I also wanted a ductless AC in my home office. It has three west-facing windows and gets really hot during the summer. The salesperson gave helpful suggestions about the equipment that would best suit my needs and their pricing was competitive.

A week later, a crew of three arrived as scheduled and installed the furnace and AC units within a day. They used drop cloths to protect my flooring and cleaned up the basement floor when they were done. The next morning, they installed the ductless AC in my office.

I am pleased with the pricing, installation and service offered by this company. I highly recommend Spring Home Heating and Cooling.

Spring Home replaced our old boiler with a condensing Viessman boiler. George provided a competitive and very-detailed quote for the work and was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. He was courteous, accessible, and happy to answer all my questions.
The two workers that installed my new system were polite, professional and detail-oriented. They didn't rush the job and the pride in the work was evident. I am happy they accommodated my request to layout the piping so that I gained a lot of storage space from my old system. We have been very happy with the installation and with everyone at Spring Home and would recommend them to others.

I have been with this company for five years and they never cease to impress me. A few weeks ago my I -comfort ultra smart thermostat stopped working. The potential problem was that it happened just as the warranty from the manufacturer was expiring.
Rodina interceded with the company so that I could have a brand new ultra smart thermostat at no cost and she succeeded. The only cost was the temporary thermostat that was placed as an emergency.
It doesn’t get any better.

I will start off by saying that my experience with Spring Home Heating and Cooling Systems was great from start to finish. I worked with Spring Home in April of 2021. I had started off searching for HVAC companies to replace our A/C, air handler in our roof and thermostat. Before deciding to work with Spring Home, I had contacted five other HVAC companies to get a range of quotes as well as to understand the processes involved for the work we required. Right from the start, Spring Home stood out from the other HVAC companies I contacted. While some took several days (a couple took over a week) to return my call, Spring Home was very responsive and contacted me promptly. The sales representative that contacted me (Sam) was very patient and took the time to explain things to me, including the process to visit and inspect the existing units, educating me on what each units do and key considerations before making a decision, brand comparison, and the billing process if I were to work with them. Sam spent over an hour answering my questions and making sure I was well informed. Sam came to visit and checked out the units and spent time explaining what was currently installed and gave suggestions on what his recommended solution would be. While trying to do my own research, Sam also offered time to answer further questions I had while trying to figure out what was the best setup for my home. Overall, I really appreciated the time and energy spent to make sure I was able to make an informed decision. When it was time to do the work, we had three technicians come and remove the old units and install the new ones. The technicians met with me first to explain what they will work on first. They were very careful when working around the house (it’s a small house with tight squeezes) and laid out protective layers around the areas they were working at. Early on one of the potential challenges that was notified to us was that we may need to cut open our ceiling to have an opening large enough to remove the old and bring up the new unit. We were pleased to learn that the technicians managed to be very careful and was able to utilize the return opening and not have to open up our ceiling. The work took one and a half days work, and during the process I had random questions and requests and the technicians took time to explain to me how the units would work and how our new thermostat controlled each of the units, along with an HRV and rad heating we had in place. When the job was done, I tested out the settings and new thermostat, and thought that there was something not working properly. When I contacted Spring Home, they worked with me to have the technician come back a couple days later to check things out again and to make sure things were properly set up. I was very happy at the responsiveness and they certainly demonstrated that they cared for their customers. Overall, I’m happy I made the decision to work Spring Home and have been enjoying my new A/C during the recent hot weather.

We ordered a Mitsubishi ceiling mount heat pump (heating and ac combined) from Spring Home through Sam. Every step of the process was very professional and excellently handled by Sam. He was responsive, explained everything, answered our questions with patience and clarity, never condescending or short in tone. He usually answered his phone but when he wasn't able to he got back to us promptly. He made two home visits to ensure the installation would go off without a hitch, which it did. The installers, Peter and Tashi, were polite, hard working, and respectful of their work space and our house. They stayed the full day and then some to ensure the job was done properly, and Peter explained the basic operations of the unit before he left. They cleaned the site very well, maybe even cleaner after than before they started. Before we found Spring Home, we called several companies and had several folks come by to give us an estimate. Sam pointed out a couple of major things (and a few minor ones) about our unique space (attic conversion to livable space without dormers, so steeply sloped roof) that others missed. It was this as well as his patient demeanor and knowledgeable responses that convinced us that he was the right person for this project. The product has only been in for a couple of weeks (summer) so we have no real review for it at this time except to say it seems to do what it's supposed to do quietly and with energy efficiency. During extremely hot weather it's kept the 3rd floor comfortable. PLEASE NOTE - We are not relatives or have no personal connection to anyone at Spring Home. We are just homeowners who had a very positive experience with these folks amidst a mostly DIY attic reno, and during a pandemic no less. Both my wife and I would happily and with confidence contact Sam again for any similar needs we may have in the future and would heartily endorse both Sam and his team to friends, family, and whoever reads this review.
