We Thought initially selecting CA paving was the best choice, meeting Mike and talking to him was a pleasure was happy with everything he said, and he guaranteed a good job when the entire job was done. Well unfortunately we were wrong everything was good up until January when we had the thaw the asphalt started to raise up which was normal, but it also started to chip at the edges and the bottom was not done properly its all bumpy and not even. furthermore as soon the weather raised in temperature the asphalt started to melt and sink where the cars would be parked, asphalt is suppose to hold up car and vans, upon calling the office they put us on a repair list, on June 1st the crew came to repair the driveway and made it only worst, cut the asphalt and put new one down and doesn’t even blend in with the driveway, then June 8th we came home parked our car on the driveway and later went to move it and the asphalt sunk and pushed up leaving a bad mark. Clearly CA paving used the wrong asphalt or paved our driveway too thin cause if it was done properly, we wouldn’t have this issue. Upon trying to call the office and get through to Mike, haven’t received a call back yet, the first time when the repair crew came and we called and complained about the terrible job the crew did Mike told the head office that he just wants to get the repair done and over with and doesn’t care, Mike is the manager of that company and for him to say that, that’s not professional at all and very rude.
We had our driveway paved October 20th, 2017 less than a year, other neighbours in the area have had their driveways paved around the same time and has had a single problem.

Mike keeps saying its tire marks but neighbours who had their driveway paved around the same time of us no visible tire marks, we also called other paving contractors about how thick asphalt is suppose to be everyone says 3-4 inches Mike told us asphalt is only 2 inches

The office doesn’t answer phone calls, or they don’t return customers phone calls, we would call get their voicemail call back an hour later and they would pick up, we would ask them if they got our voicemail and they would say nope. Mike is the type of manager that tries to avoid the customer and avoid problems.
Mike came by our house to look at the driveway to see what needs to be repaired, the day he came over he was walking around like he could care less, and he is very rude accusing my mom of yelling at him we have a security camera and we reviewed it and my mom didn’t not yell at him what so ever Mike just did not have the patience and didn’t want to do the repair. When my mom handed him her phone, so he could talk to my dad he refused to talk to him and tried to walk away and leave, he is very rude, and we have it all on camera as proof.

All I can say is CA paving ripped us off our money is down the drain and will to redo the entire driveway again thanks to CA paving this a cost that is unnecessary. Despite Mikes first impressions when giving us the quote and making a promise to do a really good job and do a good finish with the paving. Well we know better to research and find a better paving contractor that’s trust worthy and has better customer service. Someone who is reputable and has quality work. I can’t say the same for other customers who hired CA paving for their job, but my suggestion is save your money and find a better company.

My dad wanted to get our driveway done as it was bad and overdue for repair. We were doing landscaping at the same time so my dad told me to call around to get quotes I got a quote from one guy 1800$. So i googled Paving companies and came upon CA Paving. I have them a call and Jody the office manager was very respectful and quick, told me she would have someone call me back. Later that day Mike called me and came to my house on July 12th. First impression was really good he shook me and my brothers hand. I explained what we wanted done and he took his time and was patient. He said he could do it for 1500$. I told him I would get back to him. Talked it over with my dad. Called Jody back to give her the okay to proceed, she emailed us the contract we signed it and sent it back right away. Within a week Jody called me to inform me they were coming on August 2nd to excavate the driveway. The excavation crew showed up when they were suppose to. They were very professional and respectful. Me and my brother were the only ones home and the guys made us feel confident that everything would go as planned as our parents couldn't be home.

The excavation crew cleaned up after themself didn't leave anything behind. They also made sure that we understood everything they were doing.

About a month later Jody called with our paving date. I told her we were still waiting on the guys to do the landscaping that we will call her when we're ready.

Unfortunately the guys weren't able to come do our landscaping until a later date. So I called Jody right after the thanksgiving weekend and told her they could come and pave the driveway. A week later she called me back saying they will come October 20th to pave the driveway. She gave me all the instructions of what to do for when the paving crew arrived. She took the time to list everything that I need to do.

Mike and his crew arrived today around 1:30 to pave the driveway. It was quick and professional process. Mike asked me how I want the edges to be finished and I left it in his hands to make the right choice.

And may I say Mike and his crew did an amazing job from start to finish, they took the time to ensure the asphalt leveled with our garage floor and made sure the lines from the roller was gone. Mike promised me when he first gave the quote he can guarantee a amazing finish and he kept his promise and I was impressed. I thanked him and the crew when they left.

My parents came home around 7 and were really impressed on how the new driveway looked.

I want to thank Mike, Jody and allthe guys from C. Aurora Paving you guys did a excellent job from the start of the job to the finish. I would definitely recommend you guys to family and friends
