John is professional and knowledgeable. After installing a one-way door for raccoons and squirrels I was finally able to get peaceful sleep at night. It was only a couple of days later I noticed there were no more scratching sounds and the lever to the one-way door was way up which tells me the raccoon was finally out!

Last week, after hearing a lot of strange noise, I discovered a squirrel in the basement. When I went downstairs, it was squawking loudly: I'm sure that the squirrel was terrified of people, but the feeling was mutual! I called Grady's in the evening, and he was able to come the very next day. Honestly, I did not know how anyone would be able to get this squirrel out. But Grady's was able to remove the squirrel from the basement with skill and was very reasonably priced. He also determined that the squirrel had come in from the chimney and installed a screen so that they could no longer get in. The most important quality in a business for me is integrity, and that is why I chose Grady's after reading the reviews on Homestars. I'm glad that I did, and I would not hesitate to recommend (and already have recommended) Grady's Wildlife Removal Services to others in Ottawa.

I had a squirrel nesting in my basement ceiling. It had access via a hole in my foundation sill plate under a concrete step. John of Grady's Wildlife Removal was very knowledgeable of the behaviour of squirrels and was able to talk me through the possible causes of the problem over the phone before we were able to determine where it was entering the house.

Eventually I hired Grady's to install a one-way door with wire mesh that was dug around the base of the step where the squirrel had access. This job was well done and effective at permanently blocking access to the house, giving me the ability to properly seal off the hole without worry of the squirrel just digging through again.

Am very happy with the service that Grady's provided, and it was for a very reasonable price. I've gotten quotes/proposal from 3 other contractors, and Grady's proposal was by far the most reasonable one; both the work that was proposed and price. He did everything very well and on time.
p.s. I had squirrels nesting under my roof.

John is responsive and helpful. He came to my place the next day as I remember. He climbed to the top of the roof in order to give a real estimate and to offer advise. John knows what he is doing. He charged a reasonable price, the same as the estimate. However he offered more help. John is a good, honest, and trustable human being, which is more important than anything else. I would highly recommend him to you.

In early November of 2020 we sent Grady's Wildlife Removal an email to ask if they could come and take a look at our squirrel situation in our attic. We knew exactly where they were getting in. John came out, climbed up to our second story with a ladder and installed screening on one side of the roof (one entry point) and a one way door with screening on the other side of the roof (the other entry point). Problem solved. John was prompt, very professional and a super nice guy to chat with! We highly recommend him if you are having any wildlife issues.

Have used John a couple times to help out with squirrels and raccoons. Our house backs on to a forest and house’s roof design makes it susceptible to wildlife looking to get into the attic.
