We ordered a custom made red oak door in the Arts & Crafts style of our house with two glass side lights. We visited the showroom and factory to see how the door was constructed. We were impressed with the efficiency of the plant and the beauty of the products. Our door was installed by the company on time and quickly but efficiently. The wood matches the trim in our house EXACTLY. The insulation provided is great and you can't even hear someone who is outside the door looking at you through the sidelights. This is true craftmanship and worth every penny.

I recently had my front door (original builders) replaced with a solid wood 2.25 inch slab Mahogany (raised panel) door from Amberwood Doors Inc., and what a fantastic experience that was! After taking a look at Amberwood Door’s website and going through their beautiful and unique door designs I decided to call them. Rick, one of Amberwood’s door experts, was the person I chatted with and explained exactly what I wanted and he was able to answer all my questions without any hesitation; moreover, his manner was very professional and sincere and he took great pride in what he did; he was very knowledgeable and I could tell he had some kind of formal schooling for this. I had so many questions and Rick was always very patient and happy that I was asking him pertinent questions. Rick explained that there are so many important factors that go into deciding the right entry door, ie: the appropriate type of wood based on exposure (how much sun), environment, overhang (all necessary to prolong the life of wood doors), door design which must be appropriate for the home’s overall design, etc.; these were all equations I had not the slightest idea about. After all the emails and telephone calls back and forth, I finally decided that I had the right professionals to do the job, so I had Rick email me the quote with the specs for me to go over; he then came over to take precise measurements and confirm all details we had previously discussed, and made many good recommendations too; here again, he did a very thorough job and by this time, I had great trust and confidence in his expertise; we then went over the door accessories and hardware finishes – they are beautiful. He then emailed me a scale drawing for review. After 4-5 weeks as promised, the door was delivered and installed by two very professional guys who did an amazing job; they also got rid of my old door, leaving absolutely no mess to clean up – they were that good! My new entry door lends such elegance, beauty and a touch of grandeur to my home now; it has a mortise lock and is very secure and soundproof too – the difference is very noticeable. No doubt, the value of the home has increased. Amberwood Doors is a first-class custom wood door manufacturer and from beginning to end, the job was carried out professionally and with much precision; the quality of their work is exceptional. These folk have such passion and pride in their craftsmanship and in what they sell. This was an experience to remember and I highly recommend Amberwood Doors and their knowledgeable door expert RICK.

Our beautiful early 1930s Beach home had a broken front door that we'd been planning to replace for ages. It would have to be custom-made, as it was a few inches larger than standard sizes. And we wanted laminated glass and a multipoint looking system for security.
After more than a year of grief working with another company whose workmanship simply didn't cut it, we turned to Amberwood.
They understood the issues, worked with us patiently until we were happy with the stained-glass design, were in regular email and telephone contact and shipped us several stain and glass samples to approve.

y were great to work with and did a tidy job. The door fit so precisely they were able to reuse our original gumwood trim, for a truly custom look.
We were very pleased with the glass, the workmanship of the door and the installation; all in all, an excellent experience.

We are very happy with our new front door and would have no qualms about recommending this company to anyone. It was a very positive experience, from our first visit to the showroom, where Art took us through the workshop to show us the manufacturing process from start to finish. He then came to our home to measure and help us to make the best choices for our particular house. A custom stain sample was made to perfectly match our existing woodwork. The door was ready for installation even earlier than the estimated time frame and the installation went flawlessly, considering the potential for problems replacing an original door on a 100 year old stucco house with original plaster on the interior walls. There was no damage to the stucco and only minimal patching required for the plaster. The installers were courteous, highly skilled and meticulous in their work habits. The door itself is of exceptional quality and beauty and certainly enhances the character of our home.

Great work done by Amberwood - quality craftsmanship and great service follow-up for a few issues post-install. The colour and fit are perfect; and the design transforms the look of the house. Overall I am certain these doors added value to the property.

Best company we have ever dealt with on a home renovation project.
We checked out three companies and I was impressed with Amberwood from the start. We received excellent and friendly service from Art on an extremely busy Saturday morning. He gave us a tour of their facility and the entire manufacturing process. He remembered us on our return, weeks later. He came to our home to personally take measurements and to assure our selection suited our home. We received a scale drawing to approve. Art guided us through the stain , hardware and glass selection selection and offered excellent suggestions to match our decor. The door arrived on time and installation went without a hitch. The result is stunning. Called Art with a question about a wax protectant for the exterior and he still remembered me and personally dropped off a product at my home on his way to work. I highly recommend this company. We have friends that also used them with an equally satisfying experience.
