Bayview Windows

I own a mid 1980s home where the only windows that had been replaced were a patio door 15 years ago; a bathroom window 15 years ago; and a Kitchen window last year. Our Sunroom has always been cold in the winter and warm in the summer. A contractor that I did work for recommended NorthStar Windows and Bayview Windows for the purchase and installation. The visit to measure up for quantity four windows was very professional. All my questions were answered, and we decided to replace the slider windows with crank-out style casement windows. One main reason for this was the slider style windows often leaked when heavy rains hit one side of the house.
The installation team are Bayview Windows employees, not contractors. The installers were very professional, pleasant, and answered any questions I had. Their workmanship was outstanding, and they left a clean workspace ready for painting.
While this has been a warmer than normal winter, I can still feel a large difference in the warmth of the room with these new Windows and a quality installation.

After research and talking to our neighbors, we decided to go with Bayview Windows and purchased the Northstar brand line to replace all our windows in our 28 year old house. We were very happy with the new windows and the patio door and were impressed to the quality workmanship and attention to detail by Jonathan and his crew. In addition, the crew continually cleaned up after each window install! Thank you Jonathan and Rob at Bayview Windows, we are glad that we chose your firm to do our windows.

Totally new to buying windows. Starting to replace 35 year old windows with failed seals. Ugly things. Reno person recommended Bayview and she was right! There is a long lead time but the result was beautiful. The final touch to a complete ensuite bathroom makeover. The installer was very professional, neat and tidy and took great care working around the new bathtub.

We will continue with Bayview on a many year window replacement path. If you have not seen or considered awning type windows, we suggest you do.

Bayview replaced all windows and doors in my home 12 years ago. They even staggered installation which allowed me to coordinate payments. Absolute excellent service.

Bayview recently installed a custom patio door. Installation ran into a couple of surprise structural issues but installers persevered and completed job to my total satisfaction.

AVOID! They recommended drilling 2 holes in each of our 5 double glazed bay window panels. While doing so they poured some dirty liquid in between the panels causing the permanent stain in each of the windows. Now the windows look dirty, the stains are inside and can't be cleaned. I contacted them several times - no response.
I got the second opinion: the drilling of the holes was a stupid idea and destroyed good windows, the dirty residue can't be removed and I need to replace the panes. Cost - 6000$.
Adding the 1,400$ I already paid for their terrible job, I have been conned out of over 7,000$!

Replaced 3 large windows on main floor and all three basement windows. This company was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. Very professional. I had three windows replaced by another popular locally built windows/Ottawa company and these windows Bayview installed (North Star) were beautiful and outstanding quality and looked of far better quality. The install team is professional, friendly and excellent at their work too. Another plus for Bayview is they have their own installers and do not subcontract therefore you do not have to worry about the quality of the install as these guys knew their stuff. Highly recommend Bayview if you are looking to replace your windows!!!

Older home, changed 3 doors and 2 windows. One door in particular was known to be a challenging install. Quote/measurement process was a pleasure. Due to covid supply chain and workload issues, the install was delayed much longer than anticipated. The install team was very courteous and did a fantastic job. The jobsite was left immaculate.
Over the years, we have dealt with several window companies and this was by far the best experience. It was well worth the wait.

I have used Bayview Windows in my own house so when my mother wanted to get new windows I knew who to contact. Shawn came out to my mother's house and showed her the options. When she decided Shawn explained that with the COVID situation that the supply chain was taking longer than normal. This was fine . We were contacted and told that the windows would be installed April 21st. My mom received a call 2 days saying that they could install on the 20th . The installers Justin and Mike arrived on time at 8. and they worked none stop installing the 4 windows. Justin installed the window casings and they look amazing. The installers cleaned up and there was no trace that they had been there . Justin showed my mother how the windows operated and explained to her the advantages of her new windows. The old windows were 50 years old. Mom was so impressed that she is now thinking of replacing other windows. When she is ready she wants Bayview to do the next batch.

Amazing !!! The install crew of 3 worked practically Non stop to remove and install 2 Bay windows. The Team was well organised and methodical. I was comfortable and very confident in their abilities.

Tom and Wayne did an outstanding installation. They were courteous, clean and careful. We have a brick home and the custom flashing and the caulking was flawless- thank you! Inside casings perfect.
Fifty year old home never looked so good.
