Ideal Insulation & Roofing

We had a tight deadline to get the attic insulated, so Colin gave me a quote over the phone and booked us in. The guys showed up on time and did a great job. They cleaned up any mess that they made and went on their way. We got the invoice in the mail a few days later and was surprised that it was lower than initially quoted. We had several companies come in to look at our home and estimate the work. Ideal was not only the best price but also offered clear recommendations and made us feel like they genuinely cared about our home.

I hired Ideal Insulation to do a roofing Inspection due to a building inspectors report the roof needed replaced. The report from Ideal identified several areas where roof maintance was required but the roof had a good 5 years of life left on it. Honesty and Integrity describe a business that reports facts and is not looking for the "big job".

I took many quotes as this one of the first jobs in a list that we were doing. From the quote to follow up this company was professional and honest. Both my husband and I had some misgivings as our roof is unusual and we saw pockets that if they were insulated may affect the permeability of the roof. This company noted right away addressed how to handle it and gave the limitations of the roof line. All other companies brushed off our question and promised the impossible. No brainer here I will take honesty over bragging any day. We have been extremely satisfied with the upgrade (our bills are happier too).

AMAZING Service. When quoting our roof they pointed out that some shakes were missing and that they would swing by to repair them (regardless of whether we hired them). I never actually expected to see them for this, but about 2 weeks later I heard a clatter on the roof and was amazed to see that he did come repair the missing spots. In the end we did hire them as the price was reasonable and they sounded like they knew what they were talking about and would back their work. They were in fact very reliable and stand behind their work.

Our builders sub did the insulation in the house. We were getting frost spots on the ceilings when it was really cold -30c. Bim from Ideal inspected there job. There were low spots, areas that no insulation like around the chimney and the crest of the vaulted ceilings. They repaired all the mistakes and upgraded to an R40. Job well done ! Thanks

I hired Ideal Insulation to remove ashphalt and install new shingles on both side of a duplex. The price was competitive, they put in galvanized steel in all valleys, (neighbors hired others they did not) They also added new attic vents and installed 2 power vents that I had purchased elsewhere. They finished the job in 2 days, I am happy with their work and timely manner. They placed ice and water shields along all eves.
