They explained what could be the cause beforehand, arrived on time, excavated and checked all possible causes, replaced weeping tile while there, repaired crack in foundation, ensured there was no undermining of footing before closing up, finished grade with top soil after and even added material to correct slope on the other side of house. On budget, no extra despite taking extra 2 days due to hard clay.
