Moving companies and their staff are amongst North America's most maligned workers. So when we started searching for a reliable company to move our treasured possessions built up over nearly 50 years of marriage, we were really concerned about finding the best available
company. We researched several companies, got quotes from a number and finally settled on Salmon's Transfer Ltd of Richmond,
British Columbia, to move us from Vancouver to near Calgary, Alberta.And wow, what a great choice. Over the course of the move, all the staff were professional, knowledgeable and courteous. They packed up our household goods, drove 19,000 pounds of our furniture, art and memorabilia collected from around the world, about 1300 kilometres across BC just as winter was setting in and delivered two full trucks to our doorstep two days later. And NOT ONE item was damaged. Everything was done with a smile. I can't recommend the Salmon's highly enough. They have been in business for over 100 years - for a reason. And, by the way, their quote for the move was 33 per cent less than the closest other quote. I can't recommend them highly enough. Top notch.
