A few years ago, through a friend who has high standards and used Huskys services, we had Husky installed our interlock. We were quite pleased with their work. In particular, Scott was patient and took a lot of time just to make the stone arrangement look perfect.

Therefore, in late 2021, we invited Colin helping us with our sod installation and garden design and planting. He listened well and came up with designs and quality plant selections that would suit our preference. As the result, in summer 2022, we had very nice blooms in our gardens and received many compliments.

It was obvious that Colin was passionate about the gardens and plants. Hes always been patiently answering our questions in a timely fashion throughout the time. Were the beginners of gardening and his professional advice and solutions would ease our concerns when a plant didnt seem to grow well. He also provided quality services after the planting and replaced problemed plants as needed.

We noticed that he delivers what he promised. Even though he may have a busy schedule, he always gets the job done and follows through. His crew has been professional and friendly, and cleaned up after their works.

When the time comes, we will gladly use Huskys service again, and recommend them to our friends.

More than a dozen of my neighbours and I have used Husky for years to take care of our landscaping, annual flower planting, snow & ice clearing, and spring & fall cleanup. They have a large staff who are knowledgeable and responsive. Calls or texts are answered promptly, snow is plowed quickly in winter, and costs for all their services is very reasonable. Husky just completed my back yard project. They did an amazing job. I could not be more pleased. My yard had been left in a dismal mess by another landscaper and a pool contractor. Colin took on the job knowing that his work was cut out for him. They graded the yard and planted beautiful sod which they literally went out of their way to get the freshest nicest sod. Its beautiful. Scott personally cut the curves of the beds to make me happy as I am not a lover of straight lines. They created a lovely interlocking patio at the back of my yard and a perfectly matched and constructed interlocking path from the existing interlocking patio to the new in ground pool. New garden beds planned and planted. I have had so many complements! Colin Scott and the crew were always respectful and hardworking. They were a pleasure to work with always keeping me informed as to what was happening. I have already given out Huskys phone number and will continue to refer them to friends and family. I feel that their price was very fair and the finished product is just what I had hoped it would be.

They quoted $1785 (this price included taxes] for a job to replace 17 boxwood. Only 16 were needed but the credit given was not proportional to the invoice. In my opinion it should have been 16/17 of the invoice, a saving of $105.02. Instead I got a paltry $42 credit. Very unhappy. Their reasons made no sense to me and I've dealt with contractors for over 45 years. To me it was a money grab. Colin just came across with attitude.

We hired husky to remove snow for our community, they have exhibited very unprofessional snow removal capabilities, and really poor customer service

Collin and his team have provided over 25 years of landscaping services to our condo property. Colin goes over and above to keep our property looking immaculate and the gardens he plants in the summer are the best in the neighborhood! No job is too big or small.

They are very reliable and easy to work with and do a great job.

Husky Landscaping Services Inc. has provided us with a number of services over the past 15 years. When we moved into our house, owner Colin took the time and trouble to accompany me to the quarry to select the rocks to be used in landscaping the yard, as well to help us choose the most suitable plants and flowers for our project. Husky looks after the grass cutting, fertilizing, etc. during the summer and provides us with prompt snow removal services in the winter. Phone calls to the company have always been answered promptly and it is clear that the answers to any questions have been thoughtful and based on experience. In short, we are very happy with the services provided by Husky Landscaping and would recommend them highly to anyone in the market for these types of services. A+

In the 2017-2018 season, Husky offered three snow removal contract options for residential customers. They all have some dependency on the snowfall amount, e.g. customers who sign a Basic Package gets snow plowing service up to an accumulation of 115 cm.

Husky uses their own measurement and is much higher than Environment Canada’s readings:

As of Feb 7, 2018, Husky’s snowfall measurement for the 2017 - 18 season was 115 cm.
Environment Canada's data were 75.1 cm, 84.0 cm and 95.9 cm at the Toronto International Airport, North York, and Buttonville Airport stations respectively. Husky's data is higher by 39.9 cm (53.1%), 31 cm (36.9%), 19.1 cm (19.9%) respectively.

For customers who signed the basic package contract, Husky stopped the service after Feb 7, 2018. Compare with the Environment Canada’s readings, they are getting 19.9 – 53.1 % (average is 36.6%) less service than paid for.

Also, their snow plow drivers push snow from the driveway onto the street. Then push the snow to spread it out on the street as they drive away. This practice may be against the city by-law of no dumping of snow onto the street.

We have been using Husky Landscaping for as long as the company has been in business and they are fantastic. They are respectful, professional, punctual and all at a very reasonable cost. Colin, the owner, works extremely hard to make sure his customers are looked after and I would not hire anyone else. Best service ever. Karen
