Centra Windows, Exteriors, Restorations

After getting 3 prices, we chose Centra as their product seemed superior. We liked the level of detail we received about their product at our initial meeting. Although they were the highest price of our quotes, we were able to negotiate the price down, and feel we definitely got what we paid for. Good quality and we liked that they manufacture their own windows. The only con was they weren't entirely up front on whether they remove your old window frames prior to installing new windows.

In August 2010 we had all our windows and patio door replaced with Centra Windows. The entire experience ended up being a very positive one beginning with Ray, the sales person. He was not high-pressured but simply presented the details about Centra Windows and carefully answered any questions and concerns we had. The job was completed as per the schedule originally given. The fellows that did the job were very courteous and competent. They covered all our carpeted floors to keep the floors clean. The team that came to do the job all had their individual responsibilities and worked well as a team. All of our 34 windows (a big job) were hard-wired to our security system so the wires had to be detached from the old windows before removal and then reattached to the new windows. This was all done successfully. The front of the house is all brick and the windows were measured to fit perfectly into the brick openings. The finish looks very smart from the inside and the outside. They look like windows in a new home with no painting or touch-up required. The windows were all washed and cleaned at the end of the job and the clean-up job inside and out was very satisfactory. We are amazed at how much cooler the house is inside during hot summer days with Centra's "low e', argon-gas-filled windows. When the job was done we were told to call Centra if we found any problem or concern. This is one year later and we have had no recall needs. We would have no reservations in recommending Centra.

The estimator came out to tell us about their products and to give me a quote. He was very friendly and professional. Closer to the installation date, the installer came to inspect the area to make sure they would work. Installation was very fast and professional. The cleanup was superb. I would highly recommend Centra.

We would definitely go with this company again. They were very professional from the initial consultation to the actual installation. My only con was that although they offer a referral fee to the person that referred us to them, they did not ask for their information in order to give it to them.

Were introduced to the Centra team at the Home Show. After looking over their products and pricing and liking what we saw, we asked to have a salesperson come and provide us with a quote for replacing our ageing windows and doors. Their quote was very competative and won out over three other companies for what we decided was good value for our money. Installation was done over two days with little fuss and the only problem was an incorrectly sized bathroom window that was remade in time to be installed on day two if the install.

We received an estimate and the company gave us a date for the job. The workers arrived at the date and time agreed to. The job was completed in one day and the crew left the house and yard very clean. We have been very happy with the finished product. The company responded quickly to a follow up issue we had.

Centro did not finish our bow window installation properly. They did not install for stucco finish, so the next contractor could not feather it properly and refused the job.

Centra came back and reinstalled the plywood, which fixed the problem. The Centra repairman that returned was very helpful and was very thorough.

It then came to our attention that the window alarm hadn't been installed properly by Centra when they finished the window and in the meantime the window began to not close properly. They had to return another time to fix these additional errors.

Centra had to return to fix both these problems and fixed everything and there have been no further problems since.

They were courteous and timely. The call return was quick and professional.
Manufacturing time was fairly quick. The quality was good. The dimensions were excellent.
They even checked back to see if I was satisfied.

I have to say they installed windows in a timely fashion. They gave good pricing. I liked the choice of tinted windows with UV protection.
They did a Good job overall.
