Morton Carpentry Complete Home Renovations

we renovated our basement to build our daughter a 400 square foot bedroom with custom made beautiful barn doors for the clothes closet.

We fully recommend Ray Morton Carpentry for your renovation job, large or small. We contracted Morton Carpentry to renovate an existing sun room into a Florida room with an attached screened-in deck. This addition beautifully accentuates our property to showcase our attractive back yard and wooded area, enjoyed whether we are there to entertain, lounge or read. The view outside through the windows and screen is spectacular - morning, noon or night. Ray, Keegan and Eric were very professional throughout the project, offering numerous helpful suggestions, keeping us informed and cleaning up the worksite each day before leaving. Although some work was not in the contract, Ray helped us contact tradesmen for all the right finishing touches. We thank them for a job well done, and here we are thoroughly enjoying our new R&R areas!

Ray came in with his team of helpers, removed the stipple in the foyer ceiling, repaired our cracked foyer ceiling, added crown moulding to our family room, drywalled the sides of the garage, repaired the ceiling of the garage drywall and gave it an overall finished look. Painted the foyer walls and ceiling to finish the project. While working, he and his team protected the rest of the house against the drywall dust as much as possible with plastic, canvas and canvas walkways. His helpers cleaned up after themselves every day.

Ray and his crew were professional, reliable, tidy, and above all trustworthy. They showed up on time, finished the job on schedule, and always left the site clean and tidy. Ray gave us a quote and came in pretty much on budget, we added a few extras. We went from an unfinished basement to a warm, open, beautiful family room. We love it and would highly recommend!

Ray renovated a ensuite bathroom for us. Converting a bathtub to a shower installation. Great job...arrived on time...professional..took care to do a neat and tidy job. Finished the job on time with a great result. Would recommend or use him and his crew again.

My wife and I didn't think twice about bringing Ray and team back in to do a second renovation for us. In 2012 Ray completed a major main floor/kitchen reno for us and we were delighted with the results (See earlier review).

This time we contracted with Ray to do a significant master bathroom renovation. Our old three piece bathroom with adjoining walk-in closet was getting seriously dated. We decided to go "all-in" by blowing away the closet, turning it into a walk-in shower and adding a customized two-sink vanity where the tub was located. Ray built a new closet abutting the old one. To finish it off we added a few extra touches like a built-in electric fireplace (facing the bedroom) and heated bathroom floors.

Ray understood immediately what we were looking for and added a few great suggestions of his own to make things work even better. He prides himself on doing the job right with great attention to detail. He strives to ensure customer satisfaction and ensures the work site is clean and tidy at the end of each day's activities..
