Very poor quality windows, workmanship, quality, installation and customer service. Day 1 of Windows, they were scratched, damaged, not welded properly, short jambs, large gaps and black paint overspray on the inside of the windows. I contacted the company and I did not hear back. These windows are only a week old after being partially and incorrectly installed by Moncada. Very disappointed. They have not honoured any warranty at this point. I will update accordingly.

My windows are 11 years old and I need some replacement parts to hold the lock bar in place. My window dealer provided the parts at no charge but I couldn’t get the window to close when I tried to replace the parts. I contacted the dealer again and they advised they would order me new parts. 2 days later I got a call saying a service technician was in town and offered to come replace the parts at no charge. Mark came over and was fantastic! He replaced the parts, oiled the window, replaced a broken handle and then cleaned the window. He even helped me with my front door which wasn’t even from VWD. Great service! I really appreciate the service from elite windows and from Mark at VWD for adding my call to the end of his day at no charge before his 4 hour drive home. Totally recommend this company. I never write reviews but today’s service totally deserves it!

living room window installed approximately 4 yrs ago and one section developed seal failure. Called VWD and dealt with Erika who was a real pleasure to deal with! I was informed that the window replacement would be covered under their lifetime warranty, and she arranged to have Sammy come to install the new window pane. He arrived on the date and time scheduled, was very competent , professional and pleasant. He went over and above expectations offering advice and answers to my many questions! I highly recommend VWD to anyone interested in replacement windows-great quality and more importantly great follow up service !

After installing 15 windows from VWD we had one that fogged during the first winter. Once VWD was notified through our local sales store, they promptly sent Lorne north to perform the repair. Lorne was a top notch technician that went above and beyond to get the job done and went out of his way to assist us with fine tuning our other window issues. Customer service through both him and Erika was a breathe of fresh air!

Last year I purchased windows from VWD. The windows have been fantastic and have great build quality. After installing the windows I noticed that the lights (muntins) were slightly off. After notifying the company, VWD sent two technicians north to adjust my windows. Mark and Loren were fantastic, fast, easy to get along with and followed covid regulations. They made my windows look perfect before I knew it!

I would recommend VWD to everyone.

Steve and Sammy came to our home first thing in the morning to replace a triple-pane window panel that was delaminating from the inside. They were a little early (which we anticipated) and extremely proficient and super tidy. The window panel was replaced in 30 minutes with no fuss and no mess!

The pair worked quickly and quietly, and what really surprised me is that they did not damage the interior window frame in any way. I was expecting to touch it up with white trim paint, but there were no marks. Unbelievable!

We just wanted to express our thanks to Steve and Sammy for their hard work and professional service. They are excellent ambassadors for your brand and we will be recommending VWD to our friends.

Since November 2019 I’ve been attempting to have VWD honour their Lifetime Warranty by replacing a defective sealed glass unit.
Place of residence is Orleans, Ontario which is just outside Ottawa.
After repeated texts, telephone and emails with their Service Department/Manager the work has not been completed.
I totally understand what COVID has created but surely over almost 18 months our issue would have been addressed and work completed.
So much for Warranty when a company won’t honour their commitment.

We purchased 5 triple glazed windows two years ago, the inside glass of the three is not exposed to elements from outside or inside the house. The middle glass has developed a crack from the top and progressing diagonally down towards the opposite bottom corner. This is not through misuse or any fault of ours yet they refuse to work with us to replace it. They have only supplied the size specifications to us to go on our own to find someone to replace the glass. If we do that, the seal will be broken and the warranty, such that it is, only covers the vinyl and the seal? What kind of reputable company leaves clients twisting in the wind like this, not knowing what to do? Terrible to take peoples money, tell them they have a warranty, then say, oh but that isn’t covered? Please be aware that this is how much they care about their reputation and their customers:(
