I wanted to thank HIP for an outstanding renovation of our bathroom. The job was completed on time, on budget and with exceptional workmanship. There were no surprizes and your skilled craftsmen: Tim, Sam and Mo were hard working, friendly and, most impressively, innovative in tackling unexpected problems. You said during our meeting that HIP had simplfied and perfected home renovations, and you were right! The best part is that there were no surprizes and no stress on Sheila and I. Undergoing a major renovation in your home is never an easy thing - and finding the right contractor can be difficult. We met with 6 different companies before Elia came through the door. When he came over to have a look at the job and give us a quote, he immediately instilled in me a sense of comfort, something that I had yet to get from any of the other people we had met with. From the planning stages, through every step of the project, right down to the finishes, he was always available to answer questions and kept us informed with frequent progress updates and upcoming scheduled work. If I had a question or concern throughout the project, I rarely if ever waited more than 5 minutes before I had a response from him. He and his entire crew were always very professional and treated our home and family with respect.

With a basement project that finished on time and on budget, we couldn't be happier. It's only been a little over a week since it's been finished but we are already enjoying it with our family. We are getting many compliments on it and have been asked about our contractors - who we have and will recommend happily.

Many thanks to the entire team for a job well done - and especially to Elia, someone we are very happy to have worked with over the past 6 weeks. He truly is a consummate professional and an asset to your company.

This was the second job The Home Improvement People have done for me. I had them do my bathroom last year. They were in and out in 7 business days and it looks amazing. I recently had them do structural work for my basement. I was once again overjoyed by the level of skill and expertise. All my communication and questions were thoroughly answered. Thank you Ben,Dan & Larry. I am looking forward to finishing the remainder of the basement shortly. I would very much recommend them and will be telling my friends and family about them. Thank you H.I.P for the recent painting and trim work you did in my Condo. As a person who used to be in the painting industry, I can tell you that they were more than just painters. They were artists. The finishing was impeccable. I barely knew they were there. They were polite and cleaned up throughout the day. It was my understanding based on experienced and hearing the stories of others; that working with contractors was a "Dog's breakfast"!

Don't expect them to be good listeners, be responsive and actually deliver on your expectations and what you pay for.

From the first telephone interaction and throughout the 65 communications over the 7 week period of the project; my wife and I were highly impressed with the client experience. They provided invaluable insight, from design to structure and executed almost flawlessly.

The first mentioned of anything overlooked or misunderstood was immediately met with communication and corrective action. All 8 trade's men that came to our home were of the highest level of skill at their work and equal in ethics and personality.

We never knew that general contractors had smart phones that they use to response to emails and phone calls in a matter of minutes.

This was an experience that far exceeded our expectations and we will be calling the Home Improvement People for future projects. We will also make sure the general contractor is Elia again. He represented the firm in an impeccable manner.

My experience with the Home Improvement was great! All of your tradespeople were very nice, respectful of my home and me. Always very careful when walking thru the house and quiet when my children were sleeping! I even received a call one day when one of them were concerned with one of my dogs! Obviously, to have a great team, there must be a great leader, and Elia is definately one of a kind. Great people skills and very high expectations from his people. My basement looks amazing! So good that now I have to go buy nicer furniture! I would not hesitate to recommend the Home Improvement People to anyone. And double Elia's pay!
