Terrible Experience Repairing Dryer - Avoid this vendor
We contacted the Appliance Service People 7 weeks ago to service our dryer. They did that work promptly and the serviceman gave us suggestions on how to avoid the issue in future. We followed those suggestions immediately and entirely.
The same problem recurred yesterday. The same serviceman came out but was rude and condescending. He only provided excuses for how it was not his fault, but those excuses made no sense ("water in the ducts" - but there had been no rain, and I showed him there was no water in the ducts; "lint filter wasn't cleaned" and I showed him the spotless filter).
I explained that all I was looking for was an explanation as to why this happened twice in seven weeks after 7 years of perfect functioning, and all they did was repeat those same excuses that I immediately showed were not correct.
They left without completing the work. When I called the office, the extremely rude man who answered would not let me finish a sentence, told me that I "screwed up their work" and then hung up.
Shoddy work. Terrible customer service. Work cannot be trusted. Avoid at all costs.
