Extremely pleased with the selection and installation of our new door insert and windows from What A Pane Inc. Barry and his team did a fantastic job! Would highly recommend them to anyone.

I called WHAT A PANE on a Saturday morning and by 1pm that day I had had 4 full length door glasses installed, and my house was transformed.
They came with a large selection and took time and effort to match the right design for my home. I'd had a few 'other' guys knock at my door selling glass(I hesitate to use the word 'companies' as they were no more than guys in a pick-up truck) but What A Pane were a proffesional outfit that I would recommend to anyone that needs this type of work done.

After the installation, they cleaned up thoroughly and presented me with an official warranty certificate.

They came to our new street with their samples. Most of us selected our doors the same day and had them installed in few minutes. They were very friendly, told us about their products and depending on our needs advised us which product to select. We were very satisfied with their work, so were our neighbours.

Murray that services the Cambridge area was super friendly and informative. He responded to my email quickly and booked an appointment within a couple days. Murray brought over a bunch of samples as I requested and he did the job in less than 45 minutes. Thank you Murray, again I wish I had more doors to install these in.

I called Murray, from What a Pane Inc., for a quote, and he showed up promptly, and on time to show us his stock, quoted us his price. We made our decision and he took 10 minutes to install our new decorative glass inserts.After the job was done he cleaned up well. I would recommend him to anyone looking for this kind of work.

This was a very smooth installation. Barry from What a Pane called me the night before our appointment to remind me about it. He arrived right on time and confirmed the door insert I had previously chosen was still the one I wanted. He had a few other options ready just in case I changed my mind. The door was installed within 40 minutes, and they didn't even have to take the door off its hinges. The door was cleaned and we are thrilled with the product. We have so much more light and the insert looks wonderful. We chose a matte finish on the wrought-iron and a privacy glass is very private unless you practically put your face up against it. Although the prices seem to have gone up by $25 since I was originally quoted (by my recollection) I'd still highly recommend this company and this product!

I wholeheartedly agree with Lise! What A Pane not only had the best selection of wrought iron and glass inserts, they could show mw all the designs right at my house. I got their number from a neighbour in Ajax and also went to their website www.whatapane.ca.
I made an appointment and they were right on time and did an amazing job on my front doors at a great price.

I spoke to several homeowners in our area and they all recommended Barry from What a Pane, who services the Durham area of the GTA. We called him for an appointment and not only was he on time, he brought actual products with him so we could examine them weight and quality. He was also able to answer questions about which designs were newer, which were most popular and where and how they were manufactured. He took a small deposit and I will write another review when our house is ready and the door installed. Based on service, we've had a great experience with What a Pane.

Edit: When Barry hadn't heard from us in about a month, he actually called us back to remind us that he still had our deposit and wanted to make sure we weren't waiting for the door insert!
