Fridge

I bought a fridge at the Brick about six months ago to replace the one from only six years ago which broke down as well. Both fridges needed major parts. The Brick does not offer extended warranty. MTransglobal came for both fridges. The first fridge would have been over $1000.00 to fix. I paid $100.00 to the

repairman and went to the same store/The Brick to buy the fridge. It is
broken since Monday. I called
Transglobal as it's in the first year
warranty. They stated they needed the serial number. I was at work. Two days without a fridge. Wednesday, the repairman came and said it's the
thermostat. Also, the fan was nosey so needed the board replaced. I demanded to speak with someone higher up at
Transglobal on Tuesday when they asked for the serial number because being
without a fridge is no fun, besides
second time throwing out food. I have also been in contact with Electrolux. So back and forth with both companies.
Electrolux sent a credit to Transglobal for the fridge. I only found out yesterday from the manager by calling that Transglobal sends the credit to the store
once it is approved by them after 5 to ten business days. She said that she will try to get a bar fridge for me and call me back. I did not hear from her. It will be a week without a fridge. I took time off work on Wednesday for the repairman to come as the only work between 8 to 4. I have to eat out & nothing to drink but water. Why I am going through all this nonsense! BTW, it's a 12 cubic ft fridge. I do not know why they keep breaking down. The first one was a GE and this one is a Fridgeaire. Electrolux also said they do not fix those fridges, they replace them.

Approximate cost of services:
$1,000.00
