Whirpool Washing Machine

Paids $1300 for a brand new washing machine and dryer with waranty, pedistalls plus delivery and amdin fees. After 1.5 years my washing machine quit and flooded my basement and the dryer door seal came off. The dryer was an easy repair. For the washer, I've been on the phone for 2 weeks trying to get warranty information. Apparently no one has a phone number and TGS staff only communicate by email. I left messages with no call backs, I was put on hold for extended periods of time, I was hung up on, one person would tell me one thing while another would say the opposite. It is the biggest struggle to get ahold of anyone who knows what they are doing. I am beyond frustrated and still no repair. Today, a manager by the name of Carol Ann Giffen hung up on me. They quoted the repair to be 900$ and gave me a 545$ credit to replace the machine. They insisted I have the choice of getting a repair that will cost me nothing or take the machine, now they've Trans Global has gone back on their word and is only giving me a credit option. The replacment machine is 100$ more then the credit is worth. Plus I have to pay delivery fee, pick up fee of the old machine and get a new warranty. Isn't when something is on warranty, it should be repaired or replaced and not cost the consumer hundreds of dollars? I am waiting once again for a call back. I would like to take my business elsewhere and advise everything to shop somewhere else. It is very diffuclt to talk to someone who speaks english. Worst customer service I've ever had!

Maytag Dryer Repair

Dryer broke down Edmonton didn't have parts in stock so they had to order them from the manufacturer which took a week to get in. Called TransGobal spoke to a lady who was very rude. The repair guy himself was fantastic but TransGobal needs to clean house from the top down I will never deal with them again. 0 for TransGlobal 3 for the repair guy.

The Brick - Full Circle Protection

Payed over 1000 CAD for warranty only.
Samsung LCD TV gone dead, 3 weeks, 7 phone calls so far, promises after each call (provided that I explained them that I have purchased in-home service, which means I WON'T return the TV to the Brick or to their "nearest service center", which is 100kms from where I live) but at the next call they don't see any work orders under my name.
I'm from Europe, where a company like this would be paying HUGE fines for not providing the service they claim to provide. Is there customer protection at all here?
I will stay away from TransGlobal service or The Brick in the future.

Terrible fridge repair

About: Transglobal Service

Re: Frigidaire refrigerator repair W. O# 2595655 dated 08 May 2013
Last month my fridge did not work properly and following is the situation:
- 1 May: The letters E and F kept flashing without out showing temperature as usual. We called your company for service.

- 8 May: Technician 89 came. He opened the icetray and looked at the inside (there is a fan there but he did not take the fan out of its position or plug the fridge in to see whether it was working well or not) and said that the fan was not working well, that’s why the fridge was flashing and asked us to replace the fan (work order in attached file). The total price for it is $234.83 in total. We were reluctant to buy the new fan because we saw that the fridge is still working and the temperature in the fridge was still low enough to make the ice and preserve the food, moreover, only several months earlier, technician 67 did replace the which cost us $500 in total (he quoted me $400 on the 1st day he came and we agreed on the price but after installation, he gave me the bill of $500). Technician 89 then told us that we have 30 days to think about it and if we decide to replace, just call the company to order the fan and installation.
- One week later, we called your company to order the fan and installation. Your staff talked with us then transfer the line for us to talk to the part supplier and also told us whenever the part was ready, call them back to book for replacement service. 10 days later, we had the fan in hand so we called your company to book for replacement service.
- 27 May: Technician 67 came to install the fan but after installation, the board was still flashing, no change to the original condition. He seemed not to agree with the solution of technician 89 but still told us to wait for several hours.
- It was 1 week from the date of installation but everything stays the same. The board is still flashing and the fridge is still working as it was before, not better or worse.
We called your company many times, explained the situation to many people in your company from the beginning to the end, Debra (Customer service supervisor) told us to buy the new board at $400 because the board was the problem and the fan was old enough to replace it, and because we did not buy the fan from the company so we can not return (we are wondering why your company transfer us to the part supplier and then asked us why did not order the part from you?). She also told me never call customer service again because our target was trying to get the fridge fixed for free, etc (for further content please rewind the recording system in your company at 1.03-1.24pm on 4th June 2013).
My question is: what if we buy the new board and the problem is still the same? Who will take responsibility and pay for the mistake and shortage of technical knowledge and due diligence of your technician? My family again?
Transglobal service is the worst company I have ever seen and Debra is the worst customer service person I have ever talked to.

washing machine

Washer started having problems 37 days after purchasing. 3 technician visits, 1 no show, 1 bad repair that caused more damage later, its been 7 weeks now onto 2 months and I still have a broken washer. 12+ calls to Transglobal dealing with many levels and getting nowhere. They will not refund extended warranty or reimburse laundromat costs (which salesman said they will). Showed up to my house with a used/scratched/wet washer replacement and said that's all I'll be getting, though verbal contract was for a new one. Sent them back with it. Still with a broken washer and very extremely dissatisfied!!!

Dishawasher repair

This company was recommended to me by my condominium as someone that frequently comes to our building to service appliances. After 3 service calls (and $200 later), I was told that my dishwasher was not repairable and that there was nothing that they could do to fix the leak. When I called to inquire about getting my money reimbursed, I was shocked at how unprofessional they were by not returning my calls...this lasted for 6 weeks and I was persistent until I received a response from them (in addition to my money!). Very unprofessional organization that I will be telling my condominium corporation to stop referring to residents requiring repair to their appliances.

Fridge Repair

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. From a rude, agressive technician all the way up to management. It has now taken me 5 weeks and two failed attempts at fixing my fridge. I have made more than 15 phone calls to this company with no significant end to the repair. I have brought to the attention of the supervisor of their hostile and agressive employee to which the was no regard. No one has answers and never calls back (which they say every time i call). If anyone can get anything from this review it is to never use this company and save yourself the endless hours on the phone and the extreme frusteration.

Deep Fridge

Do not get involved with this company whatsoever. Worst company ever. Bought a refrigerator from leons two weeks ago. The day i got the fridge, after charging it, it's door won't open. Every once in a while it opens only to get stuck again. When the technician from transglobal came he himself couldn't pry door open. He put vaseline!! to try and fix it. He tried shoving a knife inside trying to open the door for heaven's sake. Been calling them everyday, no one picks up. And when they do, it seems like they don't understand the language i am speaking. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. A Deceitful company. Garbage products. Do not buy anything from this company.
