Arby Cartage

I was really nervous about hiring a moving company after all the stories in the news about movers being arrested and really corrupt, etc. I phoned around for quotes because I wanted to move only some larger pieces of furniture- we had done most of the move ourselves and only wanted to move the big, bulky items. The other companies I spoke to would only quote me for "a 2 bedroom apartment" and wouldn't reduce the price when I explained what we were doing. Arby did! They gave me a reasonable price.Arby got great reviews on Homestars so I figured they were a good choice.
The guys who did the move were great - they were there early, had great senses of humour and were happy to take a few extra pieces when asked. I have already recommended Arby to a co-worker and would do so again!

I was very pleased with the services provided by Anil and his helper. They were punctual, courteous and worked quickly and efficently. They made sure our belongings were handled with care, and they charged only what we were quoted, even though the job was more involved and took much longer than anticipated. I wouldn't hesitate to use their company again.

The move was super fast and easy. They were so professional, kind, quick and nice. Arby and his son made sure everything was set up how we wanted it and were more then happy to move furniture around after it was set up. They arrived on time and finished quicker then we expected so we saved some money. Their rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend them to anyone and everyone! I will for sure use them the next time we move. A very pleasant experience on a day that should have been stressful but wasn't. Thank you so much!! :)

They were here 15 minutes early, worked well together, finished moving my 3 bedroom house in under four hours. The guys were pleasant, respectful and professional. They take apart and reassemble anything -- especially IKEA furniture. I would recommend them to any friend. Nice work, guys!

I went with this moving company because of all the great reviews here. They were not only pleasant but they were even early! I couldn't have asked for a better move. I would recommend this service to anyone who wants a reliable, honest and affordable moving company They were very knowledgeable about what could fit where.

Arby and his crew moved us on June 10, 2010. We had a lot of stuff and needed a 5 man crew, everybody was right on time. These guys were awesome, extremely friendly, polite, and careful with all of our stuff, we moved a 4 bedroom house and nothing at all was damaged either in our old house or new house. The quote that Anil gave was 100% accurate. These guys do backbreaking work with a smile on their face and plenty of energy. Would definitely recommend them to everyone we know, we got lucky that they had June 10 still open by the time we called, these guys are in demand and i can see why, after we saw all the reviews on here we knew we HAD to go with them. Thanks again guys, this industry needs more people like you guys!

Kevin and his crews arrived 30 mins earlier than schedule. They're polite, friendly, hard workers. Moving was smooth and everything was handled with care. No walls were scratched or dented! And they're very efficient. Moving was done within their estimation. The only comment is that they're not very professional in moving piano but still, they do it in a careful way. Will definitely recommand to others.

Extremely efficient and professional and friendly movers. They arrived on time and went to work immediately. They completed the move within the range they had given. Our 4 bedroom house was moved in approximately 6 hours (incl. appliances). Anil & the guys were fantastic. Highly recommend them.

My fiance and I had a bit of a complicated move - we had to get his house packed up, and then pick up stuff that I had been storing at my parents' house. We looked long and hard for a mover, and we are SO happy we found Arby Cartage. These guys were:
* Early (so awesome!)
* Kind, courteous and very friendly
* Careful (they didn't ding or damage ANYTHING)
* Fairly priced (friends have told us what they paid; these guys are absoutely amazing)

I have already recommended them to several friends (who aren't moving yet, but will be at some point!). I would give them 20 stars if I was able to. It was such a stress-free and perfect move.

I'm so glad that I chose Arby Cartage for our recent move from 2 bedroom apartment with small elevator to a duplex with stairs. On the day of the move, there was a blackout in our neighbourhood in the morning, and not only the elevator was not working, but also I was not sure when the electricity will come back. I was terrified... But I was so assured when Arby Cartage was so accommodating and the mover guys delayed their arriving time until the electricity was back. I'm scared to think if I had chosen different company for such an unexpected situation. Once they arrived, they were so well equipped and efficient and the move completed in a shorter time than I expected. And I paid almost the same amount compare to our prior move 2 years ago with a cheaper-sounding company that took longer than I expected. With Arby, we hired 3 movers and they were all so friendly and took good care of all our belongings. They paid a good attention to the label of each boxes and placed them all in the right rooms. I will definitely use them again for our next move. Highly recommended.
