I had an issue where a contractor had cut into my wall and cut a wire. He didn't repair the wire properly and just spliced it and buried it back in the wall and sealed the wall. He told us this is safe but after reading more and more on this it turned out it's absolutely not safe without a junction box.
Arnaldo from java electric came right away. He was such a gentleman and gave us a fair price and honest advice. He installed a junction box and did some rewiring and told us not to worry this is now up to code.
He and his wife work together and make a beautiful team. Very in synch. They also cleaned up everything and Patched the wall perfectly and put a plate to cover the junction box so it's aesthetically pleasing but also accessible. Really good job and now I can sleep in peace.
