Although I only had my garage door repaired this afternoon, I have already recommended Markham garage doors to many of my friends and neighbours! Ryan, my technician, was able to diagnose, attend and repair my problem in very short order. He was truly my hero this afternoon when I called to tell him I was unable to open my garage door and was basically stranded, unable to pick up my daughter from school. This was my 3rd dealing with Markham Garage Doors. Had my springs replaced a year ago and recently a new motor and finally a new door installed. They have always been very friendly, efficient and professional and always on time!

I need to thank the entire team at Markham Garage Doors for the project they completed this past Friday (March 15).

They replaced my old garage door which was rotted, dented, and paint chipped. Their prep work, attention to deal (weather stripping, caulking, precise cutting) was extremely impressive. They installed an absolutely beautiful white unit with glass inserts, exactly as I wished for.

From initial consultation, to the walkthrough of the final product, an absolutely positive experience.

We needed to replace our doors and were thinking about changing up our door openers. Kevin gave us a prompt estimate, offering knowledgable advice regarding color and style of door that would match our home. There was no attempt to oversell us and he even advised us to keep our openers. We had our install by Ryan, A... the work was done efficiently and quickly with careful attention to detail. He was polite, courteous, and professional. I would be happy to recommend this local company to friends and family.

Thank you to Ryan who promptly and efficiently repaired my unhappy garage door opener. He was able to detect the broken part, immediately replace it and avoid a costly whole new unit. The now tuned garage door opener works beautifully. Excellent service.

My garage door opener died and I immediately called Markham Garage Doors. I had used the company previously and was impressed with their service on that occasion. The person I spoke with quoted me a price and assured me they would be there in the afternoon to replace the unit. The installer (Ryan) was on time, pleasant, courteous and professional. He installed the opener in a little over and hour. He even programmed the code into the mirror on my car to save me the trouble. I have already passed the Company name to co worker that had the same pleasant experience. Pricing is fair and the work is professional. Just a great company to deal with!

Update:

Brandon came back and was on time. Solid work that exceeded expectations and a price that was very reasonable and blow what I thought I might have to pay. Installed new home opener system , 2 car remotes, an external keypad, internal control, and a little doohickey that lets me know if my door was closed (YAY! - you have no idea how many times I wearily stumbled down the stairs after going to bed to verify I had in fact closed it) - what a Godsend.

They were awesome last time and the second experience was completely consistent with the first. (Read on for the original posting)

My garage door jammed today at the worst possible time. I called Chris at Markham Garage doors (who I found through Homestars) and because of my situation they did their best to get out and help. In less than an hour Brandon showed up and unmangled my wires which had popped off and got wound up. He was fast and informative and I I asked him about replacement openers (both mine died) and I knew the opener was 20 years old so now he'll be back tomorrow to replace the whole unit as well. He gave me a great product suggestion and covered every aspect - easy to make a decision with a knowledgeable, low pressure hands on chap.

Excellent communication, very reasonable prices and exceptional service. Thanks to Homestars these guys were my first call and I had to look no further.

I have nothing but great things to say about Markham Garge Doors. I went their showroom and met them there to get a feel of the products they carry. I liked the Haas Carriage Doors but wanted to see the colours they had. I wanted to deal with someone I could trust and they made me feel very comfortable with their service from the initial meeting....I had one of them come to my house to look at my garage and to give me a price on installation. After getting a good feel of their honesty and their customer service skills I decided to move forward with them. I had met 5 other companies and did not get the same level of service. Not only where they the most competitive when it came to pricing, they threw in upgraded handles for free. I highly recommend this company!!!!
