An amazing experience overall, the team is quick, efficient, responsive, courteous and super tidy! I fell in love with their completed projects in the neighborhood and when I was ready for my backyard transformation it was a no brainer to chose them. Upon seeing the rendering, I decided to go ahead and complete the driveway and the porch as well. The guys came before the original planned date of the completion of the project and they were finished in no time, which was great as now I can enjoy my backyard for the rest of the summer. To say that I am pleased with their service is an understatement. Amazing team, amazing work, thank you thank you thank you Patter Lock Interlocking!!! Without a doubt I would definitely recommend this company to bring all of your backyard, front yard transformation dreams to life!

We finally bit the proverbial bullet and decided to replace a 20+ year old tumbled brick front entrance / patio that was getting more and more decrepit by the day.
Several firms made suggestions as to repair vs replace.
Repair was not really an option as the brick was hopelessly oudated and no longer available.
I was amazed at the wide descrepancy in styles, materials and pricing presented by the various contractors.
We did our due dilegence and took the recommendation of a trusted neighbour. Pattern Lock Interlocking presented a very nice set of options at a reasonable price.
Their computerized presentation using several options together with a digitized rendering of the front of our house and a very knowledgeable salesman enbled us to quickly come to a conclusion. I am really pleased to note that the finished product was only a bit more realistic than the computerized virtual version.
The materials were delivered as scheduled. The troops showed up an hour later and after a short discussion, went straight to work.
Wow!!! Calm, cool, collected professionals working in the heat with a minimum of dust and disruption. No one was rushing around, no wasted motions, just steady progress.
The tumbled brick started to disappear and in it's place the new version began to appear. I was really pleased with the smooth, professional way everyone worked together.
I was also pleased with getting almost half the job done on day one.
Day two was a rain day.
Day three, a long day, saw the job completed with only some detail work to be completed.
They paid very strict attention to basic detail. Once the foundation was established, the rest of the job just flowed. No wasted laying, removing, and relaying of material. It was a real joy to watch professionals at work.
Towards the end of the job, I made one of my "inspection" appearances. I walked out of the garage, looked at the job, and said "WOW!"
The team was smiling, and they really appreciated the complement.

The sales person said that the border colour would really "POP" when wet. It does. In spades!!!
And at night, the lights come on and it really "POPS!!".
The neighbours are using the word "Grand" to describe the project and my wife and I agree.

What an amazing experience from day one to the completion of our dream backyard. We found out about Pattern Lock after seeing their work while visiting a friend's house in the neighborhood. We were impressed with the quality of the work and wanted to get a quote. That was when we met Jeff who was incredibly helpful and flexible. We had a vision in mind and Jeff was able to take that to the next level with his design. Once we saw the 3D rendering (including video) of what the backyard could look like we were sold! We went a 1100 square feet stone patio complete with retaining walls, pillars and a custom waterfall fountain : )

The true fun started when our beautiful stone arrived on
our front lawn. The next day our project started and was complete by the end of the week. The workmanship and attention to detail is second to none. They made suggestions along the way and cleaned up at the end of each day. Roger and his crew were very friendly and kept me in the loop as the project went along.
We are extremely happy with the end product and
absolutely love our backyard. The customer service of this company is exceptional. We would def recommend this company for all your back yard and front yard dreams. Looking forward to our next project!

We hired Pattern Lock to finish our backyard after having an on-ground pool installed. They came to give us a quote as well as some great ideas on how to finish the pool surround. Jeff was on time, courteous and very detailed in explaining how they would proceed and in providing us with great finishes to choose from. Roger and his team arrived as scheduled and were able to get the job done in the amount of time they quoted. The job included tying in our existing patio to an extended area and to the new pool coping, which they also installed. They created a beautiful finish to make our on-ground pool look like an in-ground pool! Their precision and attention to detail is incredible. The finished result met and exceeded our expectations. The guys were friendly and always available to answer any questions we had throughout the process. When everything was done, Roger walked us through what they did and again answered any questions we had. We highly recommend Pattern Lock. If you have an on-ground pool, make them your first call. They were great to work with and provided very reasonable pricing for quality work. We will definitely be calling them for our next project!

Update - the quality of the work ended up being a bit shoddy around the edges (loose grouting, etc). Considering the price paid, quite disappointing. No response from the company when I reached out to them.

Jeff, Roger and the crew did an excellent job of responding to the service request (one of the few who actually picked up the call). In addition, they made great suggestions that improved the look and feel of the project. Highly recommended and would use them again.

After numerous bad experiences with previous contractors, I was referred to look up HomeStars by a work colleague. Following some extensive research of multiple interlocking reviews, I decided to contact Pattern Lock Interlocking Company. I have to admit, I may have been a little apprehensive at my first meeting with Roger, whom I thought was going to be overwhelmed and/or completely uninterested due to the complexity of my backyard.

The previous "contractors" that we hired, got drunk, got into an argument with each other, and walked off the job and never came back. Leaving us with a tornado of a mess. Roger quietly walked around my property, took measurements, wrote some notes, and then looked over to me with a gentle smile and said "You don't worry have to worry about this anymore Dr. Chan, we're gonna take care of this."

To my surprise, he didn't comment negatively and didn't bash the previous contractors like everyone else did. He simply gave me a realistic and fair quote, the date that he was going to start and the date that the job was going to be finished, but most importantly he gave me a renewed sense of hope.

Ultimately, on the date he promised, Roger showed up with his crew. They were incredibly friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and particularly considerate of our neighbours. Which is really impressive, in my opinion. Roger and his crew worked diligently to get the job done as efficiently as possible, and with impeccable attention to detail. By far surpassing our expectations. They completed the job a day before promised, and did a great job cleaning up after their work, which is a rare find nowadays.

We are extremely happy with Pattern Lock Interlocking Company and their unequalled level of professionalism.
A modern and sophisticated company, but with Old School honor and craftmanship. We highly recommend them! 10 STARS!

Update: We are going to reach out to them once again to do our front yard project as well, in the near future.

Roger and his team were extremely hardworking.

Our experience with then was amazing. They were extremely reliable and professional from beginning to end! Even my neighbors told me how respectful they were. Roger promised he would be done in 5 days and he was. There work is beautiful. The finished work far exceeded our expectations. We are so happy we chose them to do our work. We will definitely recommend them to friends and family.

I know this was long awaited, but here it is finally, my Review.

We got the work done from Pattern lock and overall I am Happy with the outcome". We started with Jeff spending some time in hearing us out and presenting a 3-D design. It was fun 15 mins when he was working on it right in front of me taking my inputs.

During the work, we had some last minute thoughts on design changes, which Roger & his Dad made adjustments to, to our satisfaction without much hassel. Post work cleanliness was also impeccable.

There is only one feedback I have for the team: To be very clear to customers on the measurements being requested and how a stone size could impact overall measurements.

We had requested 2' of sidewalk & driveway patch, but it seemed with the final stone being added, it was going beyond 2' (26.5" precisely), so instead of being 3 stone wide, these were left as only 2 stone wide. If I was told that to make it 2 feet wide, eventually it may end up a bit wider than that and I would have to accommodate that with a bit extra in price, I would have agreed to it and asked to go ahead. Leaving it at only 19.5" does make it look like a skinny patch. It seems due to above measurement facts, material purchased was also just enough to have it only 19.5" rather than 24" (or eventually 26.5").

Other than above feedback, I am satisfied with entire team and would not stay behind in recommending them. I even have them in mind for my other property work, whenever I decide to get that done.

All I can say is job well done 100%. Materials and performance are top notch! Very tidy, very detail oriented, work was done in a timely manner and with utmost professional attitude. All and all awesome company to deal with. I have got a lot of styling ideas from them that made my house stand out.
