We have been using this company for our lawn for over 6 years now and are extremely satisifed with their service. Not only is Craig, knowledgeable about the industry, products, standards, etc., he tries to educate his clients on what a great lawn looks like and how to spot any 'invaders'. I have found that with this company, we have a partnership in maintaining our lawn. Although sometimes mother nature doesnt cooperate, its a combined effort in growing a healthy lawn. They leave us a statement of what service they performed and any instructions to be done before the next service call. They truly CARE about their clients and the work they do. From the office to their technicians, this company is a 10 in my books and I would highly recommend them!

Having 4 large dogs had destroyed my back lawn and the front lawn was sparse and covered in weeds. Last Spring, after deciding it was time to do something about the mess, I called Durham Lawn Jockey. My back yard was 85% hard packed barren dirt, they had their work cut out for them.

Durham Lawn Jockey aerated the front and back lawn, and reseeded and fertilized both in the spring. I followed the care instructions I was given and within weeks I had grass where I never, ever thought it would grow again. I was sure I was going to have to buy sod.

Within 2 months I had a healthy green lawn, in fact I had one of the best lawns in the entire neighborhood! They came back to do a fall aeration, overseed and fertilizer and they were just here last week to start our spring program. I am THRILLED with the look of my lawn; you would never know it was the same yard, even the before and after photos I took are hard to believe.

The service I was provided and the care and time that Craig, the owner, took to ensure all my needs were met was excellent. I got exactly what I asked for, and then some, at a more than reasonable price.

For years we struggled with trying to keep the beasties from eating our lawn... very often having to replace large swathes of it. We finally gave up trying to maintain it ourselves so we hired some of the well known "professionals" in the area. However, we were still not satisfied given that we continually found ourselve calling them to complain.

Since hiring Craig and his team at Durham Lawn Jockey a couple years ago our lawn has been thick and green and beastie-free. When it comes to lawn care, Craig really knows his stuff. To top it off, Craig often makes a point of knocking on the door occassionaly to say hello and check if we have any issues... which is a nice personal touch.
