Meet Mario at the home show. came and gave us a quote which was a bit out of our budget. Meet our budget, however used a cheaper quality of paint. ICI paint which should not even be sold.
Did a great job to start and paid him and all was good. The quality of paint was so bad when he came to look at it he told me it could have been a bad batch and he would call the company and see what they can do for us.
After hounding him he said it was us who had to cover the cost of the paint, and he would repaint it.
What took his crew 2 days to paint, he repainted the whole house in 3 hours. The problem, he painted it the wrong color on the wrong walls.
Took 0 responsibility for it, and told me I would have to pay $180 to have him come back and paint it again. And cash up front before I can expect.
I would not recommend this contractor as the post service if there is an issue is brutal.
Yes they can paint a good wall before they get paid…. After… forget it.
I had to paint the whole place myself, could have don’t that in the first place and saved 1500 bucks.

Steven mentions in his review that we did meet their budget, yes this is true and their budget was so low that we had to use a lower line of dulux paint called Ultra that they agreed to, that being said the paint is not a top line paint but still very good. After a year we got a call from Steven and he asked if we could go by his home to take a look at his walls, when I arrived the walls had hand prints, scuffs some type of oil stains and other damages all over, Steven explain it was mostly from their very large German shappard, (even a top line paint would not hold up to this sort of abuse). Out of kindness I offered to re-paint thier walls with one more coat with a top line paint and i would do that at no charge....that's right FREE and so I did,( I thought that was very good customer service). Colors where the right colors but because we upgraded the paint they looked a little off , I mean literly 1% off. Steven calls and now wants it re-done again for free and threatens if we don't do it free he will go online and trash us. Steven had a problem with touching walls with very dirty hands and not cleaning up after himself , if you read his comments he does say he did not like the paint but did Like our workmanship. let this be a lesson to all who think that you can get a lower quality paint with a extremely low budget.
One thing we always do when we meet our customers is explain the different types of paints that are out there and the cost of those paints, in the end we always recommend the best, but it is up to the customer to decide what they prefer.
