I had the pleasure of dealing with mario regarding my renovations for my home. He not only helped me make my home look stunning but was extremely talented and had me put together colors i would never have picked and ideas that made my home come together so perfectly. He understood my needs and what i wanted and he sure delivered that. I am so happy i found lakehurst and would recommend everyone to take a look at there work and do not hesitate to call them. A complete nightmare, especially dealing with Mario. He comes across as very customer oriented at the initial visit, but becomes very defensive if you point anything out during or after the work is done!!! My sister-in-law was witness to this. I should have clued in when on the first day, he was yelling at his employees in front of me. How professional is that!! On the quote, I was told they would patch and sand all areas in need. That wasn't done. I have bumps and lumps everywhere and pics to prove it. My laundry room and powder room had to be re-painted, because they were streaky and spots were missed. Without a doubt, Mario will deny this. They repaired an area on my kitchen ceiling. Within a short period of time, the "repaired" area cracked and I was told by another painting company that the compound material wasn't completely dry before the paint was applied. When I approached Mario, he became furious and said it was a leak in my ceiling that caused the cracking. Save yourself money and grief and stay away from this man and his company...

Mario delivered on what he said he would do and more. Baseboards were fixed before painted, walls were fixed where needed and the overall paint jobs turned out better than we even expected. Their equipment was stacked neatly at the end of each day with no mess around at all. We will definitely call Lakehurst for our next project.

Our meeting with Mario was great, he was helpfully in giving us his professional opinion. The attention to detail by John and Rene of Lakehurst Decor was simply amazing, they were a pleasure to have our work done by them. They were on time and cleaned up every day before they left. Nothing was missed. We are both very happy with the work that was done and would and already have recommended them to our friends. We would definitely use them again on any of our future big paint jobs.

I am very pleased with the service that I got from Lakehurst Decor Painting. My house was painted in the time period they had promised me. They were very tidy with the work they did, always cleaning up when they were done for the day. Excellent detail work. I would refer Lakehurst to my friends and family.

We found Mario at the Toronto Home Show. We have always wall papered our home but thought we would go with paint this time. We were not sure of cost or how it would look. Mario explained in detail, the cost and recommended different paints. We told him we had a large dog who often leaned against the wall and we were concerned if this would be a problem in regards to dirt on the walls.. He then recommended types of paint that could easily be wiped if the dog dirtied the wall.
The painter came right on time, worked through a lunch break, just stopping long enough to grab a coffee and a sandwich. He was very pleasant , a hard worker, cleaned up every day before he left. He even did a bit extra, as we had a bit of mold in the bedroom he fixed that up before he painted it.. On the last day he worked about an hour longer and until he was finished and we were satisfied.I would highly recommend Lakehurst
In conclusion , we found the cost a little over budget , but then you get what you pay for and we were happy to pay the little bit extra.

This is the second time we have used this company, and on both occasions they have exceeded our expectations. They arrived on time, and completed the job in a timely, and professional manner.

Mario and John were extremely skilled and adept at making changes to the original plan. We would highly recommend this company for both interior and exterior decor.

We needed the stucco removed from the ceilings in a couple rooms and a hallway on the main floor of our home. The guys showed up on time each day and completed the job 2 days ahead of schedule. They did an excellent job of containing the mess having the rooms completely taped off, floors covered, fireplaces draped, etc. and cleaned up well at the end of each day. We threw a couple extra patching jobs in when they first showed up and they were understanding and fixed those up for us too. The end result is fantastic - the ceilings are smooth and PERFECT. The price was right (lower than others) - and Mario and his team are GREAT guys. I felt comfortable having them in my home for the duration of the project which is just as important to me as the quality of the work itself. Would definitely recommend Lakehurst to others!
