Swat Wildlife and Insulation

We heard noise in our attic. I read the reviews on home stars and decided to call swat wildlife. Derick came promptly and figured out that there were squirrels and where they were coming in from. The problem areas were fixed and we have not had any problems since then. Derick is knowledgable and is very good at explaining how he will approach and solve the problem. The price was reasonable and I would highly recommend swat.

I thought we had a rat problem. It turns out we had a bat hiding between the stone brick and trim just below the roof. After reading many reviews on Homestars, I decided on SWAT. Derick came to my home on time. Since I left droppings in front of the porch, when I went out to meet him, he immediately verified that they were bat droppings. Derick explained that the stone brick and the trim just below roof created a gap where bats can hide. Before discussing options, he checked the attic to make sure no bats entered the interior. Then he laid out the options and made a suggestion as to the best course of action. He was very friendly, patiently answered all questions, and very professional. He did a clean and thorough job placing galvanized steel mesh in all the gaps. While doing this, he heard some noise and said the bat was in the gap at that moment. He made a one way door for the bat to leave but never return. He also placed wired mesh on 13 roof vents so bats will not be able to find any way into the attic (preventative action). After giving the go ahead, I was so fearful that Derick, while installing the mesh may do something to cause a leak. He assured me that he had a lot of experience working on the roof and I had nothing to worry about. The next day, we had a downpour in the evening. I went into the attic to check and there were no signs of leaking. Derick advised me to call them after the bat had left to close the one way door (this service was included in the original price). There were droppings the next morning, but no more after the second day. Instead of calling to close the door right away, I decided to wait until the fall, just to make sure. I called SWAT recently to request the closing of the one way door. Bruce came this time. Again, like Derick, he was very friendly, all smiles, answered all of my questions, and he was very professional. He did a great job closing up the door. He also removed 2 small wasps’ nests just above the second floor windows (very appreciative). I would not hesitate to call SWAT again if I have any more wildlife issues. The technician Bruce was very helpful and thorough. Good representative for Company. But there was some confusion with head office about charging a separate price for mouse prevention, so need to confirm prices before visit.

My wife and I started hearing random scratching/burrowing noises coming from the attic above our bedroom. I did my research on numerous wildlife removal companies in the GTA. I called them all and asked a series of questions which were recommended by a professional wildlife website. Swatwildlife passed all questions with flying colours. I booked an appointment with them right away. My technician, Ken, was early, which is outstanding. He was very professional, respectful, knowledgeable, but most importantly, honest. He checked my roof thoroughly as well as my attic. He reported that the culprit was a squirrel. He set the one way trap door and recommended, not pushed, some prevention tips. They use 16 GA steel for screening, which is very hard to buy (and you would have to buy an excess amount). I called back and booked the prevention. Again, Ken was early and started to work right away. I myself am handy and I was very impressed with the level of workmanship that was done for the price. I would recommend Swatwildlife to anyone who has a critter issue. Thank you to Ken and Swatwildlife.

Have been hearing noises off and on in our porch and fire place and just hoped the raccoons would go away, but when I seen urine dripping down the wall that was it!
A Google search lead me to Homestars site and Swat Wildlife had a good rating so I gave them a call. Sure enough, Ken form SWAT Wildlife was at my place the next day, on time, ready to deal with the bandits.
One way doors were installed and after a few days all the raccoons were out and the entry was sealed off.
Additionally, Swat was able to repair the flashing which was lose for a small fee.
I would highly recommend SWAT Wildlife, they were on time and very professional.

We discovered a skunk living under our shed. Called Ken and he came the same day to assess the situation promptly and offered a few options. We decided to have him trap the skunk and release it elsewhere while we filled in the area under our shed to prevent another skunk from moving in. Only took one night to catch him and Ken was back in the morning to relocate him.

We called SWAT to remove a family of raccoons who had set up their nest under our front porch and to clean a shed roof that was covered in raccoon feces. Ken was prompt and efficient. He cleaned up more poop than he thought was there but stayed true to the initial quote we were given. The raccoons have vacated and so far all is well. SWAT's rates are comparable to other animal control companies and the service was excellent. Thanks, Ken!

Ken from SWAT promptly arrived after our call concerning noises in our attic. He did an inspection, discovered where the critters were getting in and installed mesh/one-way doors to fix the problem. He also did an attic inspection. Ken was courteous, up front about the costs and great to deal with. Highly recommended.

We called SWAT because we thought we had raccoons in the attic. The technician (Bruce) came within a couple of hours of our call to the office, found out that we likely only had squirrels, and recommended two one way doors and also caps for the chimneys. He showed us all of the materials he was going to use, and gave us the prices ahead of time, so there were no surprises. He was very professional, and explained everything that he was recommending to us (and why). SWAT really takes your "critter" problems seriously; the technician comes quickly and on time.
