This was a very tricky renovation project, and Lowell and Michael did a magnificent job. Beautiful workmanship and amazing attention to detail, and they treated our home with care. Lowell made a number of suggestions about points that the other contractors we interviewed didn't mention, and Michael was as hard-working a person as we've ever seen! When unexpected things cropped up they were unfailingly good-natured and Michael's eye for detail found us a better colour-matched threshhold than the one we had picked out. They were a pleasure to have in our home, and Christine in the back office couldn't have been more helpful in answering our questions. All in all, we recommend Lyons Construction with no hesitation whatsoever.

What an amazing transformation! Lowell, Glen and their crew are so great, professional, understanding and kind. It was a big step for us to do this renovation...WALLS were coming down!!! Lowell kept thing organized and everything ran according to the timelines and costs outlined from the start. Glen and the boys working inside became family. We miss not having them around, with their hilarious banter and attention to detail. We're looking for things around the house to call them back for. Lowell and his team worked at my personal home rebuilding my deck to meet my wife's desired design. She is never one to do straight or normal so the design was challenging and involved use of larger posts, rope and platforms. When many were saying it would be too involved and priced way out of range, Lowell had no problem pricing it and doing the job as was asked to do, at a very reasonable price.

During construction a minor adjustment was made to the design based on the contractors recommendation to which we are now thankful he made. All in all we have used them again, and intend to do more interior work in the future. Deck looks awesome and comments have been that it should be in Home and Garden Magazine so that says it all.

Reno'd my washroom fully. Great crew. On target, and no shortcuts. When they get busy, it's hard to get a quote, but when they say they will do the work, they are on time starting and finishing. Rhys and the crew made recommendations where they felt a better approach in the long term was more productive.

On a friend of a friend's recommendation (and after bringing 3 different contractors through for estimates and ideas), we hired Lowell and his crew to renovate our basement. It had previously been rented to a tenant, and our goal was to upgrade it (new ceilings, floors, kitchen, and bathroom) to create a family hangout and space to accomodate the grandparents when they visit. I could tell after our first meeting that Lowell was the man for the job--he took the time to listen to what we wanted, and to offer suggestions that were in line with and enhanced our ideas.

We are absolutely thrilled with the finished product. It is high quality, and care was taken in each and every detail. Lowell and team are consummate professionals who were respectful of our space, friendly, and provided exceptionally high quality workmanship. We unfortunately ran into some pretty significant electrical and plumbing issues during the reno which increased the costs substantially from the original estimate. However, Lowell did his best to keep the additional costs as low as was possible without sacrificing on quality. We were in touch with him and his crew every step of the way, and always felt that it was a collaboration.

We ended up with a space that we absolutely love. It turned out better than we could have planned for, and as an additional bonus, it will no doubt substantially increase our property value.

Lowell and crew are fabulous to work with, and we would not hesitate to work with them again. After seeing our new basement bathroom, a friend was so impressed that he hired Lowell's team for his own bathroom reno--and he too is thrilled with the final product. We hired Lyons for a complete renovation of our basement. It was a challenging job that took several months to complete. We are thrilled with the results. We really appreciated the honesty and integrity in deciding the scope of the work and the budget. The job was completed within the expected time frame and on budget, which was very impressive given the nature of the work. I really appreciated that they managed the budget. They were very respectful while working in our home - we have pets and young children. I would highly recommend them to anyone. The result was just what we wanted - a fully finished basement, with a washroom, laundry room, spare bedroom, family room and new furnace/electrical, all in a century home in down Toronto.

After about 1 year of searching for a company to design and build a custom bar in my basement and through numerous no shows and non return calls i found lyons on this site Lowell and Randy came up right away and started working on the design which they finished in the time stated and was exactly what i wanted the work was started on time and was completed in a timely fashion everyone who participated in this project were extremely pleasant and worked in my home with passion they did a wonderful job were clean and respectful i would not hesitate to have them back for future projects and would recommend highly

We just had our ensuite bathroom renovated by Lyons Construction. The job entailed a complete tear out, a redesign and then the new construction. Lowell and his crew were a pleasure to work with. The ensuite turned out great. The way I would describe working with Lyons Construction : great design ideas, quality work, honest, respectful and attention to detail. I would not hesitate to recommend Lyons to anyone.

What more can we say - they built us the ensuite of our dreams and a year later we had them back to replace our old windows and redo our sun room. Detail oriented, respectful, informative and I would recommend them to any friend!!

Lowell and his team work independently and are very reasonable guys. Easy to work with and friendly. Quality of work is top notch. Took a bit longer than expected, but this may have been due to some factors beyond their control.

They gave us a little extra and stayed under budget. They are able to improvise (e.g. they found us a high-quality stone countertop from an "odds and ends pile", saving us money). Initial estimates may seem a bit high (they include management fees, but if you want to be hands off, you need management) relative to others, but after they sign the estimate, they take it seriously and don't like to go over. They'll let you know along the way how the budget is doing I general terms, and it's important to them to stick to it. Good to work with these guys. Would do it again.
