Red Robin Masonry

We were having an addition put on the back of our house. After finally getting through the process of getting all the required permits from the city we got a number of quotes for the foundation work. Red Robin was very professional, seemed to be all about quality and came in at a good price. We hired them to do our block foundation for the addition and we have had no problems at all. Michael came promptly to give us an estimate and within 2 weeks he was here to do the job. Michael was very helpfull and patient in answering all questions that we had .The job itself was done well and the job site left clean.

After visiting a restaurant on Queen St W I decided that I like the look of interior brick. A friend of mine had told me about Home Stars and I thought that I would give it a shot. I contacted a few companies and Red Robin was the first to get back to me. Mike came by and gave me a quote two days afer I had called. After a long series of questions we realized that Mike knew what he was talking about. We received a few quotes afterwards. One was even cheaper but we felt safer going with Mike. The job looks great and we couldn't be any happier.

The exterior walls of our foundation were crumbling along with a few bricks around the house. When Mike came he was very polite to both my family and our neighbours. He came on Friday morning and he was finished by saturday morning. The job looks great. He found a really good brick match. We had some work done years before and the bricks used were an obvious stand out. We had him replace those as well after seeing the bricks he had brought. We would recommend Mike and the Red Robin team to anyone in need of masonry work.

Many of the bricks on my chimney had deteriorated and it looked like it was ready to fall over. I had been meaning to have it done for some time but hadn't gotten around to it. Mike actually knocked on my door. He was doing a job a few streets over and noticed the state of my chimney while he was driving by. I spoke with my husband and I called Mike a few days later. He came with his worker Kevin and about two weeks later and they were in and out in two days. The chimney looks great and we couldn't be any happier.

When we were getting our boiler replaced we were unfortunately informed we had no chimney liner and we needed brick work on our chimney....two unexpected added expenses that we did not see added value. Red Robin understood what we were looking for when repairing our chimney, the most efficient way of doing the job properly to get a good price. It was a great job done and at a great price.

I bought my house last spring with the intentions of do a few renovations. With the remodelling of the interior we decided to have the side door opening bricked up. Mike pointed out to us that we have a chimney that was not in use and that he could use the bricks from that chimney to both save us money on materials and have a perfectly matched brick for the opening. After the door was bricked up and we saw the job that he had done we decided to have him tuck point the outside of our house. The house now looks so much nicer than it did when we first bought it. What we really liked about their work was the fact that they did a fantastic job of cleaning their work area after all of the work was done. When we save a little more money we plan on having Red Robin back to do brick cleaning on our house.
