Harry was exactly as advertised. He showed up promptly, did the work when he said he would, and phoned to see if I wanted to go and inspect it on site in case I wasn’t happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

Harry restored our treasured Brazilian rosewood dining table with 2 leaves. It was delivered today and looks like new! We have had this table for 51 years and it had developed some stains and scratches. My husband and I were thrilled with the results. Harry is a true craftsman and we would not hesitate to recommend his services.

The price included pickup, delivery and assembly as well.

I had my family handed down coffee table restored by Harry sometime back. I waited for a while to write this review as I was not sure if the finishing would hold up.
I am glad to let everybody know, it was a first class job and the finishing is like new even after substantial use up until now.

I have a set of 45+ year old Danish chairs that had brittle, sagging webbing and cushioning due to their age. The original fabric was almost like new, so I wanted to try to preserve the fabric and just repair the inside structure. After inquiring with many other companies who said it was impossible to save the original fabric, Harry took on the challenge. Incredibly, within half a week Harry called me back and said the chairs were repaired and better than new. He was able to replace the inner support, while keeping the original fabric exactly as it was. No idea what magic Harry is using, but the chairs are like they just left the original factory in Denmark. From now on I will take any future projects only to Harry.

Got my dresser quoted at a few places and some either insisted on a full blown consultation which I was avoiding given covid and others did not seem reasonable at all based on past jobs I’ve done with others in the business. tried Harry’s out and the process was seamless and Harry made himself available for pick up and drop off times. Great work and great price. Happy with the outcome! Harry is also a very personable and kind man that made it that much of a better experience. Will use again.

Harry restored a mid-century modern rosewood coffee table for me that I inherited from my cousin several years ago. The top of the table had a lot of watermarks and the colour had faded. I was astonished at how beautiful it looked when I picked it up this morning. Harry restored it to its original beauty. I wasn't surprised with all the rave reviews for A. Harry Refinishers Inc. I've just returned from inspecting my antique pieces that Harry lovingly restored for a fire insurance claim. I am blown away with the craftmanship and quality of the restorations. Harry is truly a master of refinishing and reupholstering. His attention to every little detail is outstanding and he obviously strives for perfection. I couldn't be happier with my restored pieces. Harry has breathed new life back into my antiques. Thank you from the bottom of my heart Harry. You are truly a miracle worker. I wish I had before pictures to show the extent of the smoke and water damage sustained by most of my antiques. Like the Phoenix that rose from the ashes my antiques also encountered a rebirth by the expert hands of Harry. To this end I am truly blessed. I returned to Harry to refinish and reupholster two arm chairs after previously successfully refinishing a dining room table and six chairs.

The armchairs returned perfectly restored, the innards were tightened. Armchairs look luxurious and most comfortable to sit on. I highly recommend for their great work and customer service.

The work is incredibly well done. Minor repairs completed. Hardware taken off and cleaned. The wood stain shines through splendidly. The price was right! A company carefully did pickup and delivery. An excellent thorough job! Thank you.
