Top half of chimney was replaced, since it was flaking and breaking apart, and proper liners put in basement. Excellent job on the chimney. Looks like a brand new chimney. Job was done neatly, efficiently, and professionally.

They were able to set an appointment for an estimate to fit our hectice schedule. They were on time and professional for the estimate appointment and answered all our questions while give us thoughful advice. The quote gave us options on the work they could do; which we liked and included lead time to do schedule and complete the work for each option. After the quote they did a thoughtful follow up to answer any questions regarding the quote. In talking on that follow up call they kept such great records of their visit for the estimate they were able to answer project specific questions over the phone. A few days later once we confirmed they were the service provider of choice; they had great communication leading up to the work-date (i.e. called days in advance to confirm) and were on time the day to complete the work. They were friendly and professional when completing the work and site clean up was great too. They also did a follow up call to ensure we were satisfied after the job; nice touch. Service and workmenship you expect to recieve from professionals.

I recently hired A&A Home Improvement to rebuild my chimney. The work was done professionally and within the time estimated. The A&A crew are true professionals. I would definitely recommend them.

We had an emergency masonry job that had to be completed before our roofer could finish his work. Finding someone to do the tuckpointing was proving difficult until I found your site by chance and started looking through the reviews to find someone who is near my location. I found A & A Home Improvements reviews to be exceptional and I loved his replies back to the clients -- a man after my own heart with regards to customer service!! (We own an old-fashioned retail business). So I called Andy to see if he was available to come and see our job. Unfortunately, he was busy with other jobs but he said he would make a call to a colleague on our behalf seeing that it was an emergency repair. Within minutes, he called back, told me he was able to contact someone for us and they would call us shortly. A man of his word, his contact called me within 45 minutes to tell me that in understanding our situation to be an emergency, they have been able to re-arrange another job and send someone to us at the crack of dawn the next day to give us a quote and potentially start immediately.

The man arrived exactly at the time he said, he gave us the quote which was far less than I had imagined it would be and started immediately on the job. My husband and I have been so stressed out over this repair and the prospect of finding someone who can do this immediately in order for our roofer to finish on time. Andy saved our day, our roofer's schedule and our sanity. And he is making nothing on the job except for our undying gratitude. We try to offer the same customer service in our business, even when we won't be making the sale and it is very special for us to be able to find a like-minded contractor. We will definitely be calling Andy in the future to actually do some work for us!

Usually I'm very picky, always complaining. I am very very satisfied with the crew and the job they did! Very clean, I'm very very happy. They did a very nice job! They were really polite people, very respectable.
