I hired De Haas Landscape Design to do a complete tear out and re-do of my front yard last spring.
Nicolas was easy to work with throughout the process. In the design stage he really listened to what my priorities were and to what was on my wishlist. He “got” the esthetic that I was going for, added some great twists, and was really easy to communicate with. When he came back with a proposal it was almost perfect but he was also quite willing to make some tweaks to the plan at my request.
His contract and itemized quote was clear, precise and reasonable, and in the cases where precision was not possible in the quote, he gave me a range and then fell within it. The crew was really lovely: professional, personable, hard working, and most importantly – skilled. The job was finished on time and on budget including my late-stage add-ons.
The best part of it all is my new front yard. We started with an over grown, dark, and neglected space and ended with a bright, low maintenance, functional and beautiful addition to our home. It’s like having a giant new room added on! I loooove my new front yard created by Nico and his team and it seems so does everyone who walks by!
