From our first telephone conversation, Paul put my mind at ease. He encouraged me to browse the internet to learn about the tricks of the Trade. I discovered there are many.
Paul explained the process and I felt comfortable to proceed.
He exceeded my expectations. He arrived on time, completed his task, and thanked me for my patronage.
He even gave me a Tim Hortons Gift Card, which I felt was remarkable.

Paul was extremely helpful and courteous. I told him why I thought I needed duct cleaning (smell of cigarettes) and he did research for me and suggested a number of solutions, only one of which was using his service. So I appreciated his honesty and the fact that the he went out of his way to recommend a number of solutions that would not benefit him directly. I decided to hire him for duct cleaning and furnace cleaning and I couldn't be happier. He and his team were helpful, clean, quick, and able to accommodate my specific needs and questions. I was very happy and would have no hesitation to use his service again.

As you mentioned, sometimes duct cleaning doesn't solve a specific problem, and I just like to help the customer even if it means not provide my own service for them. Down the road they may need it, and hopefully they remember that helpful guy on the phone. However, it was good that we did the cleaning, as you seen first hand, the dead mice that were in the ductwork. Paul and his company went above and beyond what they needed to do. I had made a duct cleaning appointment with him, but before the date of that I had a dryer problem that I thought he could help me with. He came over and took one look at the dryer and knew it wasn't a duct blockage problem. He noticed a different problem and offered to pick up the part and install it when he came to clean our ducts. When he did come to clean the ducts, he did it professionally and exceptionally. And they were pretty dirty. My house is a 100 years old and as far as I know, the ducts have never been cleaned. There was some gross stuff in there. And he fixed our dryer, as well as cleaned our furnace. All within a quick time period and with minimal disturbances. I will definitely use Paul again for all my duct cleaning needs.;

Our home recently underwent an extremely dusty renovation and needed a serious duct cleaning. Paul responded to my emails very quickly and set an appointment on fairly short notice. He was very knowledgeable about what needed to be done and it was obvious that he took great pride in his work. Paul from The Duct Cleaning Specialists came over a month ago to clean our dryer vents. He was friendly, knowledgeable and punctual. We liked his work - so much so that we booked another appointment with him. He was to return a month later to clean all our ducts.

There have some mis-steps on the way to that later duct-cleaning which has yet to happen. There were some mis-communications. Also some missed communications as several messages I left on the company's cellphone number were not returned - Paul has indicated the messages were not received. If you decide to go with this company my suggestion is to at least follow-up any phone calls and voicemail messages with an email.

After seeing my review, Paul contacted me via this site and by telephone. He appeared willing to discuss our concerns about the missed communications and appointment, and has offered to come clean all the vents this Sat. at a discounted rate. This shows he cares about customer feedback. We look forward to seeing him this Sat. when he comes to clean all the ducts.

The dryer vent cleaning appointment was made and I was on time and the service was performed which was done to your satisfaction and I am happy that I was able to help for that. I am a little confused that you had to call 3 times, because from what I remember, I was early for the appointment. However, for the duct cleaning appointment, which was scheduled after the dryer vent cleaning in person by me, was made for August 14th, the 2nd week in August as I wrote down the information infront of you, which is why you would have never received a phone call stating any delays for the job. I am not sure where the mis-communication was because I have not received any voice mail from you regarding a duct cleaning appointment, I have just seen this post on homestars. I have made a few attempts today to contact you however I was rudly hanged up on twice, not sure by who. Regardless, customer service is one of the more important aspects I strive to provide, so if you were under the impression your appointment was August 7th, I will gladly offer my service to you 50% off the cost. Paul Hannah from The Duct Cleaning Specialists is really great and I'd hire him again in a minute. He did a splendid job in a difficult situation, without complaint. He came out to clean my ducts on a public holiday and went the extra mile of following up to provide a special filter when he learned that I don't drive and can't easily get to the store.
