I had my basement done by P & P back in April 2012, so this review is a little late. I was not going to submit a review for reasons I will not get into but finally decided to, so here it is.
Found P&P on Homestars.com and was impressed by the favourable reviews. First met with Natanael's son and eventually signed on after meeting Natanael himself. He seemed professional and knowledgeable so I decided to take a chance and hire him. I met the subcontractor he hired for the job the same day. I realize many contractors subcontract work out but I was still not too happy about this. In the end my instincts were right.
Long story (sort of) short, I had several incidences with the subcontractor and one serious one that had me so irate I called Natanael and told him I wanted the subcontractor off the job. Natanael accepted and came in to finish the reno. I explained my situation, he understood and began to work. I showed him several things I was unhappy with and left him to work. I returned not more than 1/2 hr. later to talk to Natanael and he is now upset and begins to show me his list of about 10 things he found to be below his standards and vowed to correct them. He did and then some. He went all out to try and please me and for the most part did. I was very satisfied by him and his team's effort and work.
I would have given a 10/10 but my experience with the subcontractor takes away a perfect score.
I would recommend P & P to anyone and in fact already have.
