During the sales, we dealt with Simon directly and he provided professional, no pressure advice and helped us make the decision on what tiles to select.

On the day of the work, Simon and his team came onsite and was very mindful of the landscaping and the front lawn. They completed the work as estimated within the day and completed the cleanup leaving very little trash. In comparison, one of our neighbours got their roof done and their contractors left garbage all over OUR lawn and blocked off access to our house.

It has now been about a month and a half since the work and we've had two major rainstorms with strong winds. No issues whatsoever and we're very happy with the work that was done.

We recently had our roof done by Guildwood Roofing and were so pleased with the results! We dealt primarily with Simon who was punctual and professional but the entire team was respectful of our and our neighbours’ property, attentive and thorough in their work. Any one can replace a roof. And there are many companies who claim to give good service. Guildwood Roofing exceeded our expectations. I recommend them and I have recommended them to others.

Our experience started when we needed to replace our roof due to major leak. Simon came and patched it up. Since it was older than the warranty he recommended that we replace it. I had 3 other contractors who gave us quotations to replace the roof shingles, the Eavtstroughts and the vents . Simon was not only the lowest quote but he also was the most strait forwarded and most pleasant to deal with. The team arrived on time, did the work in the most professional way. We could not be happier.

Four years later. Last week we had a major wind storm we lost some shingles. I called for help. They immediately sent their team who did the repair. When I asked for the cost of this service call, TO MY SURPRISE they told me their is no cost as this is part of customer service. WOW. This is excellent service.

I was having constant problems with my 7 year old roof, which had been done with standard (a common brand) asphalt shingles. Decided to go with BP Manoir, and I wanted to use a roofer who was certified by BP. Other roofers whom I had been happy with in the past when repairs were made were not certified so I contacted several whom I found on the BP website. Upon speaking with a few, it was clear that Guildwood was by far the best choice - Simon was very responsive and knowledgeable about the product, in my mind there was really no doubt they were the best. Their cost was reasonable as well; though I might have found a cheaper roofer that approach certainly didn't save me money last time so I decided to stick with Guildwood.
When the day came to install the roof I was not disappointed. A large crew was able to do the job in one day (including the removal of the old roof), the work was efficient and neat. They did an excellent job with the roof, a Victorian with many surfaces, and clean up afterword was excellent.
In short, I strongly recommend Guildwood Roofing, you won't find better!

I had my shingles replaced on my house yesterday. For a few years now, I was thinking about doing this but didn’t want to start the search for quotes, as it is such a daunting task. This summer, while walking in the community, I noticed 3 houses across the street were having their shingles replaced. What I noticed was how hard the men were working. They were busy non-stop and focused on the job. After the work was done on two houses, and while working on the third house, I stopped one of them to ask for a card. Knowing their workmanship and their work ethic convinced me that I didn’t need to look around. I called Simon and he came by on a Sunday to discuss what I needed to have done, the price and timeline for when the job would be completed. I felt that due to his experience, knowledge, expectations of his employees, plus having looked at the reviews on Home Stars, I was confident that I would be happy with the work.

Simon was responsive to all phone calls and made visits whenever required to discuss or have a look at anything about the roof, before and after the job was done. Having 15 years experience, I know that he was giving me honest information about shingles, workmanship and accountability. Due to impending rain, Simon sent more men in order to finish the job by 1:30 p.m. They worked tirelessly on the house and the garage. Shingles were placed neatly. After I came home, the ground was spotless in the front and back, even on the top floor balcony. You would never have known they were there. The eaves troughs were cleaned so thoroughly that you could see through the openings and water drained easily from them. Warranty on workmanship is guaranteed. Their professional work ethic and attitude towards roofing are commendable traits. I would recommend Guildwood Roofing without hesitation.
